Grant described Carolina as "a firecracker" on The Bachelor, and her strong personality has rubbed the other bachelorettes the wrong way, mainly because she has secured the most time with Grant.

During Carolina's one-on-one date with Grant in Las Vegas, Carolina opened up about her struggles in life, and Grant said he was falling for Carolina and he'd prioritize her if they ever got married.

"You're beautiful, you're funny, you're smart, and most importantly, you have a good heart... I want to get to know every part of you inside and out," Grant told the bachelorette.

But Carolina subsequently complained about how she didn't have enough time with Grant and still had "unanswered questions" about him.

"I had a great time on our one-on-one, but I still feel like I don't know him," Carolina complained to other women on a group date.

"It's almost like how do you get engaged after one date essentially? I really like him but I also still barely know the guy."

Litia thought Carolina came across "ungrateful and entitled," and Juliana vented to the cameras about how Carolina was so "unappreciative" and it was really "unsettling" for her.

Grant confronted Carolina about her doubts, but Carolina insisted she saw potential for a future together. Grant therefore ended up giving her a rose in Madrid.

Carolina has defended her behavior on The Bachelor

Carolina clapped back at criticism over the doubts and concerns she had while filming The Bachelor.

Carolina took to Instagram Stories on Monday, February 17, to defend how, even though she had a one-on-one date in Las Vegas, she wanted more time with Grant in order to confirm how she really felt about him.

"God forbid you're not sure about a man you've been on one date with," Carolina captioned a clip from the show.

In the clip, The Bachelor bachelorette Rose Sombke announces to other women during a group date in Spain, "I can't help but be grateful just for even being here."

"It's mixed emotions," Carolina says in reply, "just because, like, I had a great time on our one-on-one [in Las Vegas], but I still don't feel like I know him."

Juliana Pasquarosa then complains in a confessional, "Sometimes I just can't believe Carolina. To hear her be so iffy about the opportunity that you had to date Grant...."

Carolina proceeded to share supportive messages she was seeing on social media.

"Why are the other girls acting like it's crazy that Carolina isn't head over heels for Grant on week 4," one person wrote.

Another fan questioned, "Wait, why are we shocked that the entire day becomes about Carolina when all of the girls have put so much energy into disliking her, talking about her and starting drama with her?"
