Carrie Ann Inaba is a single woman again.

"They decided early in the summer to break off their engagement and have remained friends," Inaba's representative told Us Weekly.
Inaba and Sloan, an accountant, got engaged on live television when Sloan surprised the Dancing with the Stars judge with a marriage proposal when she was guest co-hosting Live! with Regis & Kelly in March 2011.
The pair began dating in 2009 after meeting on eHarmony.
"I didn't put up a picture, I didn't put anything about who I was," Inaba told Access Hollywood Live in 2011. "I was like, 'You need to be sexy. I need to be attracted to you.' I really put exactly what I wanted. 'I love cats!'"
According to Inaba her attraction to Sloan was immediate.
"He was the one they sent me. It just felt familiar... in his picture, I felt like I already knew him. He took a risk because he didn't know what I looked like or anything," she said. "A few months later, I finally sent a picture."
