Carrie Ann's The Talk co-host Sheryl Underwood also addressed Carrie Ann's unexpected departure during Monday's episode.
"Before we get started today, we'd like to let you all know at home, Carrie Ann is taking a leave of absence from the show to focus on her well-being," Sheryl, 57, said, according to Us.
"She appreciates the support from all of her fans and her family right here at The Talk. Carrie Ann, we miss you and we look forward to having you back with us soon."
Carrie Ann's exit comes nearly one month after co-host Sharon Osbourne, 68, left The Talk.
Sharon was reportedly let go from the show after she defended Piers Morgan during a heated conversation with her co-hosts about his alleged racist actions.

"The events of the March 10 broadcast were upsetting to everyone involved, including the audience watching at home. As part of our review, we concluded that Sharon's behavior toward her co-hosts during the March 10 episode did not align with our values for a respectful workplace," CBS said in a statement at the time obtained by the magazine.
"We also did not find any evidence that CBS executives orchestrated the discussion or blindsided any of the hosts."

The statement continued, "At the same time, we acknowledge the network and studio teams, as well as the showrunners, are accountable for what happened during that broadcast as it was clear the co-hosts were not properly prepared by the staff for a complex and sensitive discussion involving race."
Sharon, however, denied the racism allegations against her and reportedly said she was very hurt by them.
