TV Guide Network announced Wednesday it has signed deals with Carrie Ann Inaba and Chris Harrison to anchor the U.S. channel's red carpet shows.
Their first gig for TV Guide Network will be the 2009 Prime Time Emmy Awards in September. They will also preside over the network's live red carpet coverage in 2010 at the Golden Globe awards, Screen Actors Guild Awards, Grammy awards and Oscars.
"Carrie Ann Inaba and Chris Harrison are two of the highest profile faces on television today, who bring an instant connection with millions of fans at home and familiar, friendly faces to stars walking the red carpet," Ryan O'Hara, president of TV Guide Network and TVGuide.com, said in a statement. "Partnering with talent of their caliber is a huge win for us as we continue TV Guide Network's transformation as a programming destination that celebrates the best and brightest stars in the world of entertainment."
