"I struggle with some health stuff, and so I have chronic fatigue and it comes, and when it comes in, [sex is] the furthest thing you ever want," Carrie Ann admitted during the CBS talk show.
"You're just like, 'Leave me alone. Let's talk. Let's read a book together. Let's talk about intimate things. Let's find other ways to bond.' So, like, I've been through periods where it's gone a little dry because my energy -- I just can't do it. Like I want to, but I can't."
Carrie Ann added, "So, sometimes it's not even about 'want.' You want to, but you can't."
Carrie Ann reportedly split from her fiance Robb Derringer about two months ago after getting engaged in December 2016 following a whirlwind romance.
The DWTS judge's health doesn't appear to have contributed to her break up with Robb, however, as she spun her chronic fatigue into a positive thing.
"I found [my low sex drive] to be a blessing, because I found other ways to keep the relationship strong," Carrie Ann explained on The Talk.
Carrie Ann told Healthy Living Magazine in 2014 that she also suffers from spinal stenosis, rheumatoid arthritis and Sjogren's Syndrome, which she described as "an auto-immune condition that among other things can cause incredible and random fatigue."
A source told Us Weekly last month that Carrie Ann and Robb, 50, were in the middle of planning their Hawaiian wedding when they decided to call it quits on their relationship and part ways. The nuptials had reportedly been set for July 2018.
Carrie Ann previously dated Dancing with the Stars pro Artem Chigvintsev, who had also competed on So You Think You Can Dance, from 2006 to 2008.
Three years later, Carrie Ann got engaged to Jesse Sloan, whom she had met on the online dating website eHarmony. She told Us in 2011 that she and Jesse would marry in the summer of that year, but she announced in September 2012 they had amicably decided to end their engagement.
Carrie Ann has served as a mainstay judge with Bruno Tonioli on Dancing with the Stars since the reality competition debuted on ABC back in 2005.
