Brad Paisley and Carrie Underwood took some political shots while hosting the Country Music Awards -- like singing a song about the upcoming election.
Paisley took aim at the candidates themselves, delivering a few well-timed jokes.
"What I think doesn't really matter, because this show is rigged. Bigly," he added, referencing debate over whether Republican Donald Trump frequently uses the made-up word, "bigly," or "big league" during his speeches -- the candidate says it's "big league."
They also directed their attention to celebrity news, cracking a few jokes about Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie's pending divorce.
"So much has happened in the news since we last met," Underwood said. "For example, Brad and Angelina broke up.""Yeah, we did, and it's been pretty tough on me," Paisley deadpanned. "Yeah, I don't want to talk about it."
Underwood was also among the winners on Wednesday, taking home her fourth trophy for Female Vocalist of the Year.
