The nominated singers with reality TV ties will either be looking to defend their throne or steal one when the CMT Music Awards show airs live from the Bridgestone Arena in Nashville, TN, on Wednesday, June 8 at 8PM ET/PT.

Video of the Year is a large, special category of 12 nominees in which the final six nominees will be announced during the live telecast, with final voting held at CMT.com during the broadcast. The award for Video of the Year will be given to the winning artist/duo/group and its video director.

Shelton, who serves as a mainstay coach on The Voice, is nominated for his video "Sangria." Underwood, who won the fourth season of American Idol, is nominated for her video "Smoke Break." Urban, who judged the most recent seasons of American Idol, is nominated for his video "John Cougar, John Deere, John 3:16."

The artists will be up against fellow Video of the Year nominees Cam with "Burning House," Chris Stapleton with "Fire Away," Florida Georgia Line with "Sippin' On Fire," Jason Aldean with "Tonight Looks Good On You," Little Big Town with "Girl Crush," Luke Bryan with "Strip It Down," Sam Hunt with "Break Up In A Small Town," Thomas Rhett with "Die A Happy Man," and Tim McGraw with "Humble and Kind."

Shelton and Urban are also nominated for Male Video of the Year. The other nominated artists are Eric Church with "Like A Wrecking Ball," Bryan with "Kick The Dust Up," Hunt with "Break Up In A Small Town," and Rhett with "Die A Happy Man."

Underwood with "Smoke Break" and Musgraves, who finished the fifth season of Nashville Star in seventh place, are fighting for Female Video of the Year. Musgraves' video "Biscuits" was the one nominated.

The two women are up against the following nominations in this category: Cam with "Burning House," Jana Kramer with "I Got The Boy," Kelsea Ballerini with "Dibs," and Maren Morris with "My Church."

Lambert, who was the runner-up of American Idol's eighth edition, has been nominated for CMT Performance of the Year along with Underwood. The award honors a musical performance on a television show, series or variety special on CMT.

Lambert performed "Girl Crush" with Leona Lewis in 2015. Underwood sang "Smoke Break" on CMT Instant Jam.

The two Idol favorites are facing the following nominees: Brantley Gilbert and Lynyrd Skynyrd with "What's Your Name," Cheap Trick and Jennifer Nettles with "I Want You To Want Me," Chris Stapleton with "Nobody To Blame," and Darius Rucker with "Alright."

The two other award categories are Group/Duo Video of the Year and Breakthrough Video of the Year.
