The Teen Mom OG star revealed to her fans and followers Friday on Twitter, "Well today I thought of every way to kill myself.. so I'm going to treatment."
Catelynn, 25, added the following hashtags to her post: "#MakeChesterProud @TalindaB #KeepTalkingMH #thiswontlast."
Shortly afterward, the MTV reality star posted a photo of the tattoo on her forearm that reads in cursive text, "My story isn't over yet."
Catelynn also shared a picture of her daughter Novalee Reign's favorite horse stuffed animal, which she had decided to bring to treatment with her.

"Well Nova buddy is coming with me... and I'm gonna hold it close to my heart the whole time... #thiswontlast #thiswontstopme #keeptalkingmh," she captioned the image.
Nova turns three years old on January 1, 2018. Catelynn and husband Tyler Baltierra's first child, Carly, was given up for adoption eight years ago and the couple's emotional decision was documented on an episode of 16 & Pregnant.
Once Catelynn revealed her struggles on social media late last week, Tyler praised his wife's bravery in seeking treatment.
"Incredibly proud of my wife... when she thought she had no choices left, she reached out & decided to LIVE today! My life would be desolate without her in it. You are beautiful, strong, worthy, & loved @CatelynnLowell #KeepTalkingMH," Tyler tweeted.
Catelynn and Tyler tied the knot in August 2015 and have been happily married ever since.

In April 2017, Catelynn talked to People about her battle with mental health, but everything seemed to be okay.
"I'm doing very well. Two years out, you know, since birth, so I'm doing -- I actually feel really good, I do. I had a panic attack this morning, but I worked through it. It's just knowing the things that you have to do to work through it. But yeah, I'm doing way better," she said, adding that she learned to ask for help in the future if necessary.
Back in 2016, Catelynn entered a rehab facility in Arizona for postpartum depression and anxiety following the birth of Nova.
"I'm seeking help for myself and my family," Catelynn told MTV News in March of last year, insisting her treatment was about mental health and not drug use.
"Thank you to all of my supporters. My family and I would appreciate some privacy at this time."
