CBS has announced that it is accepting applications for The Amazing Race 10, another traditional "teams of two" edition of the series that will be produced following this spring's broadcast of The Amazing Race 9.

Mail-in application forms are being accepted now through January 20, 2006. In addition to containing a completed application form, all mail-in applications must be must be accompanied by a three-minute videotape and proof of a valid U.S. passport. Unless they are applying with a new teammate, applicants who previously applied to a prior The Amazing Race edition are urged not to re-apply.

Similar to previous editions of the program, once all the tapes have been reviewed, semi-finalist interviews will be conducted in ten regional cities -- Los Angeles, Austin, Chicago, New York, Columbia, San Francisco, Miami, St. Louis, Boston, and Pittsburgh.

After the semi-finalist interviews occur in late February/early March, finalist interviews will be conducted in Los Angeles during late March and early April. The Amazing Race 10 is scheduled to film sometime in or around June 2006, with CBS expected to broadcast the series in Fall 2006.
