In what's going to be a busy three day period for its reality shows, CBS has announced that Big Brother: All-Stars and Rock Star: Supernova, the network's two big summer reality series, will end their seasons with consecutive night mid-September finales that will proceed the third night premiere of Survivor: Cook Islands, the thirteenth edition of the network's long-running Survivor series.

The next night, existing Supernova members Tommy Lee, Gilby Clarke and Jason Newsted will decide which one of Rock Star: Supernova's remaining finalists become the lead singer for their new group. Similar to Big Brother: All-Stars, Rock Star: Supernova's finale will air in the same Wednesday 8-9PM ET/PT time period in which the show's results shows have regularly aired this summer.
Capping off CBS's three-night "reality-palooza" will be Survivor: Cook Islands, which, as CBS announced earlier this month, will launch the network's fall schedule and premiere Thursday, September 14 at 8PM ET/PT. Set in the small South Pacific island chain named after English explorer Captain James Cook, Survivor: Cook Islands will once again feature the new Exile Island concept that the show first introduced in last spring's Survivor: Panama edition.
Three days later, CBS will premiere its other fall reality series -- The Amazing Race 10, the tenth edition of its long-running The Amazing Race series. The Amazing Race 10 will debut on Sunday, September 17 at 8:30PM ET/PT with a special 90-minute episode. Subsequent episodes will air in the show's new Sundays at 8PM ET/PT time period.
