CBS has confirmed that Survivor: China will be the official title for this fall's previously announced fifteenth Survivor edition that will film in mainland China.

"This fall, Survivor leaves the tropical islands for something completely different... China, where the modern world meshes with 5,000 years of colorful history," Probst teased in the preview. "The adventure will play out in the shadows of a sacred mountain on the shores of a remote lake in the land known for tigers, giant pandas, snow leopards and ancient tradition."
Similar to his Live appearance, Probst's preview video failed to mention the exact location where Survivor: China will film.
Since filming has yet to commence on Survivor: China Probst also revealed little else about the reality series' fifteenth installment, making no mention of its possible cast or what twists would be in-store for them, including if Survivor: China would feature the Exile Island concept that was first introduced in the twelfth season and has been a staple of the last four editions.
"A new group of castaways will battle each other and the elements to outwit, outplay and outlast -- Survivor is going to China," Probst said as the preview video ended.
Survivor: China will mark the first time a major American television program will film an entire season on location "in the heart of China," as Probst put it.
