Undercover Boss is getting a high-profile premiere.

CBS has announced the new reality series, which will follow corporate executives working in disguise at low-level jobs in their own company to find out what their employees really think of them, will premiere on Sunday, February 7 following the network's coverage of Super Bowl XLIV.

Undercover Boss will then move to its regular Sundays at 9PM ET/PT timeslot beginning February 14, where The Amazing Race's sixteenth-season episodes will serve as its lead-in.

Each Undercover Boss episode will follow a different executive as they examine the inner workings of their company by working alongside their employees to learn the effects their decisions have on others, find where the problems are in their organization, and see some of the unsung heroes at the lower-level positions.

"Everyone has daydreamed about watching the boss do their job," said CBS Entertainment president Nina Tassler.

"The journey of watching a chief executive walk a mile in their employees' shoes is always very revealing, often humorous and, in some cases, very inspiring." 

Undercover Boss' post-Super Bowl premiere will feature Larry O'Donnell -- the President and C.O.O. of Waste Management -- as he cleans porta-potties, sorts waste at one of their recycling plants, and collects garbage from a landfill.

Some of the additional executives who will be featured on during Undercover Boss' 10-episode season will include 7-Eleven President and C.E.O. Joseph M. DePinto, Hooters President and C.E.O. Coby G. Brooks, White Castle Owner/Executive Board Member Dave Rife, and Churchill Downs C.O.O. William C. Carstanjen.

Undercover Boss represents the first new series to debut after the Super Bowl since ABC aired the premiere of its short-lived Extreme drama in 1995. It is also the second CBS reality series to air post-Super Bowl -- as Survivor: The Australian Outback and Survivor: All-Stars both premiered following the big game in 2001 and 2004, respectively.  A Criminal Minds episode aired in the time period following CBS' most recent Super Bowl broadcast in 2007.

CBS began developing Undercover Boss in February and it is based on a U.K. reality series of the same name.

It is produced by Studio Lambert, Ltd, with Stephen Lambert serving as executive producer.
