CBS has revealed additional details about the 11 teams who will be competing on The Amazing Race's 27th season this fall.

The cast will include former New York Jets cheerleaders, street dancing brothers, TMZ personalities, dating news reporters, and an engaged couple whose The Amazing Race-themed marriage proposal went viral.
After the teams -- who all have a pre-existing relationship, unlike last season's "dating couples" and "blind dates" theme -- complete their first challenge, they'll head off to Rio de Janeiro.
The teams will embark on a trek around the world, and at every destination, take on mental or physical tasks. Once a challenge is completed, they'll receive a clue to their next destination. Last-place teams will be eliminated along the way until only one team remains. The winning couple to cross the finish line in first place will receive the $1 million grand prize.
Phil Keoghan will reprise his role as host.
Below are the CBS-supplied descriptions of Season 27's teams:
- "Cousins" Alex Manard and Adam Dingeman
Alex is a 22-year-old department supervisor in retail sales from Champaign, IL. Adam is a 24-year-old host and server from Des Moines, IA, who currently resides in Valley Village, CA.
- "Married Couple" Cindy Chac and Rick Chac
Cindy is a 36-year-old dentist and Rick is a 38-year-old OB/GYN. They are both from San Diego, CA.
- "Mother and Son" Denise Williams and James Corley
Denise is a 51-year-old administrative assistant and James is 26-year-old a resident physician. They are both from Prattville, AL.
- "Brothers" Ernest Phillip and Jin Lao
Ernest is a 29-year-old dance instructor, hotel maid, stock boy, certified personal trainer, and homecare provider for brain trauma patients who currently resides in Burlington, VT. Jin is a 26-year-old student and stock boy. They are both originally from Boston, MA.
- "Best Friends" Jazmine Lewis and Danielle Littleton
Jazmine is a 23-year-old LA Galaxy Star Squad Girl from Moreno Valley, CA. Danielle is a 23-year-old student from Riverside, CA.
- "Engaged Couple" Justin Scheman and Diana Bishop
Justin is a 39-year-old morning radio personality from Bronx, NY. Diana is a 30-year-old sixth grade teacher from Sharon Hill, PA.
- "Friends and TMZ Co-Workers" Kelly Berning and Shevonne Sullivan
Kelly is a 37-year-old television editor from Los Angeles, CA. Shevonne is a 31-year-old post-production supervisor from Taunton, MA who currently resides in Los Angeles, CA.
- "Dating Co-Workers" Kelsey Gerckens and Joey Buttitta
Kelsey is a 25-year-old news reporter at KEYT-TV from Ventura, CA. Joey is a 26-year-old news anchor from Simi Valley, CA who currently resides in Santa Barbara, CA.
- "Dating Paparazzi Business Partners" Logan Fazio and Chris Gordon
Logan is 36-years-old and Chris is 46-years-old. They are both paparazzi photographers from Miami, FL.
- "Best Friends" Tanner Kloven and Josh Ahern
Tanner is a 26-year-old pharmaceutical sales rep from Fort Worth, TX. Josh is a 28-year-old in medical device sales from Dallas, TX.
- "Former NFL Cheerleaders" Tiffany Chantell and Krista Debono
Tiffany, a 28-year-old consultant for physicians in healthcare from Little Falls, NJ who currently resides in Hoboken, NJ. Krista is a 28-year-old speech pathologist from New York, NY. They are both former New York Jets cheerleaders.
