Wickedly Perfect might be the title of the show, but no one will be using that phrase to describe the debut ratings performance of CBS's new domestic diva search reality show.

Stumbling out of the gate in its attempt to carry the Thursday night torch until Survivor: Palau returns to reclaim the time period later this winter, Wickedly Perfect's Thursday, January 5 8PM ET/PT premiere drew only 9.36 million viewers, a 6.5/10 rating/share in households, a 2.9/8 in Adults 18-49, a 3.4/8 in Adults 25-54, and a 4.6/11 in Women 25-54.

The modest debut numbers represented less than half the number of viewers who typically tune in to the network's Survivor broadcasts. As a result, an original episode of NBC's Joey easily won the time period in virtually all key metrics, managing to (at least temporarily) end its long ratings slide and hit ratings highs that the freshman NBC series had not seen since early October.

Wickedly Perfect's performance did pick up at 8:30PM (versus Will & Grace), adding 1.5 million viewers (10.08 million from 8.63 million) and jumping 28% (3.2/9 versus 25.7) in Adults 18-49 and 30% (3.9/9 versus 3.0/8) in Adults 25-54.
