Keshia had become the week's Head of Household after she used a "recast-the-HoH" power that she won in the game's earlier "Gift Bag" twist to steal the week's HoH role from actress Shannon Elizabeth, who had won Celebrity Big Brother's first Head of Household competition.
Celebrity Big Brother's special live two-hour Friday night broadcast had begun with the houseguests reacting to the conclusion of Thursday night's broadcast, which had featured Keshia becoming HoH and revealing her nominations of Chuck and James.
Afterward, the houseguests were shown competing in the week's Power of Veto competition. Shannon, Miss Universe 2015 Ariadna Gutierrez, and Sugar Ray singer Mark McGrath were selected to participate in the PoV challenge alongside Keshia, Chuck and James.
A scavenger hunt challenge, the PoV competition gave the six participating houseguests ten minutes to search the backyard's "Four Sneezons" competition set for lettered crystals and form the longest correct word they could devise.
Shannon shocked the Celebrity Big Brother cast by managing to spell "responsibilities" -- a 16-letter word that easily won the PoV competition but painted a target on her given she had also won the season's initial HoH competition.
Afterward, Keshia called a meeting of the seven-person "womens" alliance she had formed with Shannon, Ariadna, actress Marissa Jaret Winokur, former The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Brandi Glanville, former The Apprentice contestant and White House staffer Omarosa Manigault, and RuPaul's Drag Race star and entertainment reporter Ross Mathews.
During the meeting, Keshia pressured Shannon to use the Power of Veto so the alliance could take Chuck off the chopping block and nominate Mark for eviction in his place to "just to scare him a little bit" even though the plan would still be to evict James.
However, Shannon openly worried that would hurt her own game and needlessly leave Mark upset at her -- comments Keshia and Omarosa were quick to point out and criticize, resulting in Shannon crying and apologizing for not "considering everything and everybody."
Ross also disagreed with the plan had actually pointed out the same concerns before Shannon voiced them herself, but opted to remain quiet after his initial comments on the topic were dismissed and he saw Shannon criticized and attacked.
Instead, Ross began privately voicing his concerns about Keshia and Omarosa -- who no one had initially wanted as an ally given her prior reality TV reputation -- to Shannon, Brandi and Marissa.
Shannon then organized another alliance meeting and attempted to approach Keshia and Omarosa a second time to get their approval to not use the Power of Veto, however the two women -- who had secretly formed a two-person alliance -- continued to pressure Shannon to use the PoV as removing Chuck from the chopping block would increase the chances they would be able to convince him to work with their seven-person alliance.

Afterward, Omarosa then approached Shannon again and further attempted to convince her to use the Power of Veto.
However, during their conversation, Omarosa also told Shannon that Keshia had "already talked to Chuck" about the plan to remove him from the chopping block. The conversation left Shannon convinced Keshia only wanted Chuck removed because would be good for her own personal gameplay.
When the Power of Veto ceremony occurred, Shannon announced she would not be using the veto.
Afterward, Shannon and Ross decided they couldn't trust Keshia and Omarosa anymore and their seven-person alliance was "already breaking up," lamenting they had somehow ever ended up in an alliance with Omarosa of all people.
Instead, the pair decided to approach Brandi, Ariadna and Marissa about "flipping the vote" and voting out Chuck instead of James, who they might then be able to use as an ally against Keshia and Omarosa.
And when the live eviction vote took place, that's exactly what the five houseguests did -- leaving Omarosa as the sole houseguest to vote for James' eviction (as the reigning HoH, Keshia was only eligible to vote in the case of a 4-4 tie).
After the eviction, Keshia and Omarosa appeared shocked.
Celebrity Big Brother's next episode will air Sunday, February 11 at 8PM ET/PT and feature the crowning of the competition's next Head of Household, as well as the announcement of the HoH's eviction nominees.
