With the former What Would Ryan Lochte Do? star and Tamar Braxton on the chopping block together, the houseguests decided to evict Ryan from the house through a 6-1 vote on Day 13.
The only person who voted to evict Tamar, a star on Braxton Family Values, was actor and singer Joey Lawrence.
"I think I messed it up in the beginning [as HoH] because of the alliance I tried to form. I think it was the wrong move," Ryan told Celebrity Big Brother host Julie Chen in his post-eviction interview.
"I really think [Natalie Eva Marie] and [Lolo Jones] were working as a team outside of the alliance I thought we had, and they went to Kato and Tom and that's what started everything. They started pushing me out. But that's the game. I don't blame them. I think they targeted me because I was the biggest threat to them."
In addition to the houseguests mentioned above, Celebrity Big Brother's second-season cast was also comprised of The Real Housewives of Atlanta star Kandi Burruss and former superstar NFL running back Ricky Williams at the time.
The Celebrity Big Brother broadcast began with footage flashing back to Day 11 after Kato had nominated Tamar and Dina for eviction.
Even though Ryan wasn't on the chopping block, he didn't feel safe. In fact, he said he'll never feel safe in the game.

Tamar yelled in the Diary Room about how Kato had made a huge, stupid, "asinine" move in nominating her for eviction just because she didn't clean up after him.
Tamar accused Kato of being "sexist" because he told her to go home and be with her son and clean more, but their fellow houseguests didn't think Kato's speech came across that way. Tamar was furious Kato brought up her son.

"Play time is over. He better have a Plan B," Tamar told her girls, Natalie and Lolo.
Meanwhile, Kato was attempting to comfort Dina because his goal was to keep her safe and target somebody else. Kato's real goal was actually to backdoor Ryan.
Once Tamar calmed down, she and Kato hashed out their issues, and Kato noted he'd discuss his real plans with her after the Power of Veto competition.
Kato suggested to Tamar she was safe, but he didn't want to open up about things too soon because "loose lips sink ships."
Tom then decided to team up with more members of the house because he and Kato needed to add to their alliance.
Tom thought it would be great to get Natalie, a former WWE wrestler and Total Divas star, and Lolo, an Olympic track and bobsled star, onboard because no one would expect them to be working together.
"We can run this," Tom told Lolo. "An actual Final 4 alliance."

In order to solidify the foursome, Kato shared his plan to backdoor Ryan with Lolo and Natalie. Tom asked the group, however, what they should do if Ryan wins the next Power of Veto.
At that moment, Ryan stuck his head out of a door and appeared to listen to the group's conversation. Even if Ryan couldn't make out what they were saying, he realized immediately Kato was trying to backdoor him with the help of the girls.
Ryan and Joey then confronted Kato and asked if they were in trouble. Kato said there was "a chance" one of them could be placed on the block if someone ended up using the Power of Veto because it would be a "coin toss" between the two guys.
Ryan and Joey discussed one of them winning the veto and keeping nominations exactly the same.
"Once I get that fire going, oohhhh, you can't put me out!" Ryan bragged in the Diary Room.
It then became time for the Power of Veto competition. In addition to the Head of Household, Kato, and his nominees, Tamar and Dina, the houseguests who were randomly selected to play were Tom, Natalie and Joey.

The competition dubbed "Worldwide Rollout" required the celebrities to roll a ball around a globe in attempt to land it in the highest numbered slot. The slots were numbered from $1 million to $100 million.
Tom rolled $35 million, Dina failed to land the ball in a numbered slot, Kato rolled $15 million, Natalie rolled the ball right off the globe, Tamar landed her ball in $35 million, and then Joey rolled $25 million.
The competition came down to a draw between Tom and Tamar, so they both got to roll a ball again. Tom got the ball in $70 million and then Tamar rolled $45 million, so Tom won the Power of Veto.
At the subsequent Veto Meeting, Tom announced he had decided to use the Power of Veto on Dina. Kato was therefore asked to name a replacement nominee, and Kato declared Ryan was his guy.
"My nomination is someone everyone in the house loves... and I love this guy. I'm just going to say, Ryan, just destroy everybody in Tokyo at the 2020 Olympics, but I have to nominate Ryan. I love you and I apologize," Kato said.

During his speech, Ryan admitted he knew he was going to be walking out of the door, but he reminded everyone he's a team player. Both Ryan and Tamar expressed there would be no hard feelings if they were to get evicted and they both had a blast in the house.

The houseguests then cast their votes to evict one at a time.
Joey voted to evict Tamar, Tom voted for Ryan, Lolo voted for Ryan, Dina voted to evict Ryan, Kandi voted for Ryan, Ricky voted for Ryan, and Natalie voted for Ryan.
In a 6-1 vote, Ryan was evicted from the Big Brother house. Lolo broke down into tears when he left, feeling guilty about her decision.
Ryan said he regretted targeting Lolo to begin with and he should've just went with his gut in the beginning. He also called his time in the house "insane" but "so much fun."
However, Ryan noted he'd rather go through training for the Olympics again than participating in another season of Celebrity Big Brother because it was really tough.
