Todd won the HoH competition and chose to nominate Carson, a designer and former Queer Eye star, and Lamar, a former NBA champion, at the Nomination Ceremony.

Todd revealed Carson is his target and Lamar is just the pawn heading into the next Power of Veto competition.
The HoH competition dubbed "Celebrity Endorsement" revolved around the theme of endorsing a celebrity signature drink.

The participating celebrities -- minus Carson, who as the outgoing HoH was deemed ineligible to compete -- were required to taste a drink. They were told which three ingredients were supposed to be in it, but there was an extra fourth ingredient the houseguests needed to taste and identify.
Unfortunately, many of the extra ingredients, such as wasabi and BBQ sauce, would not taste good in a cocktail.
If a player was correct, he or she would earn one point for a round. The houseguest with the most points after seven rounds would be crowned the new Head of Household, who would then launch a special HoH drink for which two houseguests would help launch an ad campaign.
Singer and entertainer Todrick Hall hoped to add an HoH win to his resume, saying that he didn't flip the entire house and take out Shanna Moakler for former UFC champion Miesha or himself to lose this competition to another celebrity.
The drinks were disgusting and made some of the players gag. In one drink, there was sauerkraut, and in another, there was fish sauce and oat milk!

Todd ended up winning the Head of Household competition with five points, and he said he was ready to switch things up.
Todd then had to pick two houseguests to wear costumes inspired by a "hojito" cocktail, and he selected two people he had a good relationship with so they wouldn't hold it against him: Lamar and Todrick.
Lamar had to dress up like a glass filled with limes, mint leaves and a straw, and his costume was connected to Todrick's lime outfit, meaning the guys were forced to spend 24 hours together tied at the hip.
Todd said in the Diary Room how he planned to take out one big threat, and Lamar figured Carson would be the target.

After all, Carson only had "a little insurance policy" with Todrick and Miesha, but little did he know the pair was still gunning for him.
"I would bet the farm, all of its horses and the pigs, that Carson and I will be on the chopping block together. Only God can save us," model and former The Real Housewives of Atlanta star Cynthia Bailey said in a confessional.
Given Todrick previously pulled Todd off the chopping block, Todrick hoped to cash-in on a favor and be safe this week.
Todd -- who said he was done "playing under the radar" -- wanted to nominate Carson along with a "decoy."
He intended to do what was best for his game and determined it may be in his best interest to keep Cynthia safe and potentially have her as a number later on.

"If Carson wins the [Power of Veto], I think he will sacrifice himself to keep Cynthia off there so she can stay in the house," Todd said.
Todd therefore asked Lamar if he'd be willing to go up as a pawn, and Lamar didn't seem to care.
Cynthia was actually excited about Todd's plan because if she won the Power of Veto, she could pull Carson off the block and then they'd have a chance to stay in the game together.
"Interesting. Now there is a little glimmer of hope!... This might just be the Hail Mary that we need!" Carson gushed. "We're not necessarily dead in the water."
At the Nomination Ceremony, Todd announced he had decided to nominate Carson and Lamar for eviction.
Todd told Carson that he's really good at playing the game and is also friends with everyone.
"I know if I don't get you out now, we're in trouble," Todd announced.
"And you, Lamar... It's going to be the fourth quarter, this is Game 7, and you're going to end up turning around and winning the game. We can't allow that to happen."

Lamar said the houseguests had yet to see him with a fire lit in his belly, and so he was going to gun hard for the veto. Todrick also bragged about Todd doing all of the dirty work for himself and Miesha.
