Chelsea Bush, a 21-year old model/artist from Brentwood, TN, may admit to not having the most "perfect face" among her fellow contestants on True Beauty. However it was her lack of "inner beauty" that got her booted from the ABC beauty competition during last night's broadcast.

Chelsea's elimination meant that Joel Rush, a 26-year-old imaging software salesman from Tampa, FL that had joined her in the competition's "Hall of Beauty" elimination gallery, got to remain in the competition.

"I'm just a little baffled right now," Chelsea said after shown clips of her bad behavior during her time in the competition. "If you pulled out clips on Joel, oof. You'd have a lot, because Joel has no inner beauty. I'm not being a sore loser, I'm just saying I'm better person than Joel."

"I just have these little spats," she added. "I mean, I'm a girl. I can be a bitch sometimes, but who can't."

True Beauty's fifth episode began with Billy Jeffrey, a 31-year-old vitamin store owner from Lewiston, ID, returning from the Hall of Beauty after being spared from elimination when CJ Miller was sent home instead. After hearing from the judges that he had been too still and unnatural, Billy committed to change his ways on the show so he could succeed.

"I had to grow up today, and right now I am emotionally and physically exhausted," he said. "I've been trying to be perfect, but what I have to do is relax, don't over think stuff, have a little bit more fun. My fairy tale story is not over yet."

When he got back to the contestants' home, Billy was surprised to find his housemates decked out in goth gear for a "Billy Goth Party" to celebrate his return. One of the party's highlights included Billy revealing that he used to be a Chippendales dancer and getting into a dance-off with Chelsea, who turned out to be a hip-hop dancer herself.

The following day, the contestants met with host Vanessa Minnillo and learned that they would be taking part in another team challenge that would test their "natural beauty" by having them create 30-second video clips advertising a new organic lifestyle company.

After being separated into three teams of two in which Julia Anderson, a 23-year-old magician's assistant from Dallas, TX, teamed up with Laura Leigh, a 21-year-old model from Staten Island, NY; Chelsea partnered up with Ray Seitz, a 29-year-old artist from San Diego, CA; and Billy worked with Joel, the contestants were told to each find one item that they "could not live without" before reconvening with Vanessa.

While most of the contestants had little trouble finding their item and presenting it to Vanessa, both Billy and Ray were told to pick new items after Vanessa deemed Billy's "Murse" (a man purse) and Ray's box of pencils to be more than one item.

"Are you serious? A 'murse!?' Who even uses the term 'murse!?' Ray said later. "I mean, who accepts the fact that they have a bag that had been termed a 'murse,' and then they [use] it to describe their own murse!?"

Billy also had an extra energy bar he was hiding in his boot confiscated as well.

The contestants were driven out to a wilderness trail and told to hike five miles to a beach where they would make their camps. Unbeknownst to the contestants, Vanessa and the show's other judges Nole Marin and Cheryl Tiegs revealed that they would be watching each of the teams and grading them on their ability to work together.

Some of the highlights from each team's hike to the beach included Chelsea and Ray speaking ill of Billy and his "Mister Rogers" attitude, Joel spiking up Billy's hair to make sure it still looked good during a break from running and Laura going to use a port-a-potty only to run back out of it screaming because of what she found inside it.

After the teams arrived at the beach, they were greeted by Dave, the president and founder of the company they would be filming their clips for the following day. He urged them to be inspired by their hike through the wilderness for their clips before leaving the contestants alone to party and -- as per usual -- culminate in Ray running around naked before jumping in the ocean.

The following day, the contestants were woken up at 5AM to begin filming their clips. While most of the contestants attempted to use black plastic plates as makeshift mirrors to get ready for shoot, Joel was the only one to use the reversible screen on the cameras they had been given to prepare himself for the shoot.

While both Laura and Julia received high marks from the judges for helping each other out and listening to each other's ideas while they each shot each others clips, the other teams did not fare as well.

Although Ray showed a great deal of patience as Chelsea flubbed take after take while insisting that a seal sitting on a rock stayed in the shot, Chelsea failed the judges' test when she proved to be incompetent when it came time for her to use the camera to film Ray's shoot.

Similarly, Billy was very accepting of Joel's ideas and did everything he could to help him, leading to him receive -- like Ray -- a positive grade from judges. However, Joel failed the challenge after he got into an argument with a lifeguard who denied the pair access to a lifeguard shack that they wanted to use for Billy's shoot.

Following the shoots, the contestants met with the judges to see how they had fared during their shoots.

Nole felt that Julia's movements during her shoot were "so unnatural" and urged her to try and be herself more in future challenges. However, Vanessa loved Laura's clips, complimenting her "sexy aura." However, Cheryl added that she hadn't believed the words Laura had said were genuine.

Cheryl pointed out a huge editing mistake in Ray's clips that showed people sitting in the background of the shot as he said that he was the only person on the beach. When it came to Chelsea's clips, Nole said he was very "disappointed" by her and that she had not delivered her lines passionately.

Although the judges praised Billy for finally breaking away from his formally stiff sell and being "so natural" during his shoot, they criticized Joel's clips heavily, saying he looked "unpleasant" an saying the video quality was poor.

After announcing that Billy had won the challenge and had the best video of the bunch, the judges revealed that Joel and Chelsea had been deemed to be the challenge's worst two performers and would be up for elimination at the Hall of Beauty.

Upon hearing that he was up for elimination, Joel stormed off into the house by himself.

"I set the bar in this competition since day one, and Chelsea's been the black eye on the face of beauty," an angry Joel added later. "It's kinda like putting a pit bull in a ring with a rabbit. I'm gonna make a little meal out of her and then come beck to the house."

Meanwhile, while aware that she was up against a strong contestant in Joel, Chelsea received heartening advice from Ray, who told her to "Be the underdog that pulls off the upset."

Prior to arriving at the Hall of Beauty, the judges revealed that the week's secret Final Straw challenge would involve an actor posing as a gardener "accidently" spraying each contestant with a garden hose as they entered the Hall of Beauty building.

While Joel reacted to being sprayed very well and said "no problem bro" after the fake gardner offered an apology, Chelsea didn't fare as well as she cursed at the gardener under her breathe as she entered the building.

Before revealing their decision of who they were going to eliminate, the judges gave both Chelsea and Joel a chance to say why they should remain in the competition.

"I don't have a perfect face, as Dr. Palmer had said, and I wanna show people that you don't have to be perfect," Chelsea pleaded. "I'm a good person, on the inside... I'm not afraid to be myself. I'm a little quirky and I think that I deserve to be here."

Joel was a  bit more cocky with his response.

"I believe that I have everything it takes, inside and out," he said. "Not only to continue on, but to win this competition. This has the been the most positive experience of my life, and I'm not ready for it to end."

However, the cockiness seemed to work, as the judges then revealed that Chelsea had been eliminated.

The next episode of True Beauty will air Monday, February 9 at 10PM ET/PT on ABC.
