Chelsia Hart played with her heart instead of her head and paid the price for it.

Chelsia was revealed to be evicted from the Big Brother house on Day 49 by a unanimous 5-0 vote after she was placed on the chopping block by the competition's third individual Head of Household Adam Jasinski, a 29-year-old public relations manager from Del Ray Beach, FL.
She was initially on the block with James Zinkand, a 21-year-old from Sarasota, FL whom she also had a romantic relationship with while in the house. However James won the Power of Veto for the second week in a row during Tuesday night's broadcast and removed himself from the block.
Joshuah Welch, a 25-year-old advertising media buyer from Dallas, TX who is still the only houseguest to avoid being placed on the block, was worried that he'd become Adam's replacement nominee. He convinced his former "perfect-match" partner Sharon Obermueller, a 23-year-old realtor from Olathe, KS, to offer herself as the replacement nominee, and Adam accepted her request.
Chelsia was aware that James was a bigger target than her and as soon as he won PoV she seemed certain that she'd be booted.
"I came here to play a game, and that's not what I did," Chelsia told James through tears after he took himself off the block.
"Developing a relationship with James -- having feelings for him -- has screwed me over in this game," said Chelsia in a subsequent Diary Room confession.
Instead of moping around the house or trying to plead her case with the other remaining houseguests, Chelsia decided to go on a rampage of sorts. She began by smashing all the eggs that the houseguests colored for Easter.
"Are you gonna evict me! Are you gonna evict me!" Chelsia yelled as she destroyed the eggs.
Chelsia also went on the verbal offensive against Natalie Cunial, a 28-year-old bikini barista from Salem, OR. Natalie was the one who basically convinced Adam to nominate James and Chelsia since they were responsible for the ouster of her former perfect-match partner Matt McDonald the previous week. Chelsia called Natalie "white trash" and attacked her lack of an education.
Prior to last night's live eviction vote, Chelsia again went on the offensive.
"I have learned so much in this game and I have learned so much from this game," she said. "If it is my time to walk out those doors than I am happy because I did not change for any one of you... I did not become a materialistic, vain person... With that said, if I walk out that door today, I still have my dignity because I did not breast feed off any one of you to stay in this house. So please folks, give me your vote!"

"You guys all stay," said Chelsia, trying to avoid goodbye hugs. "I just want to give you all some insight. Adam, get a backbone in this game. You're playing like a baby!... Natalie, educate yourself. You need one honey, you're in dire need of one!"
Chelsia whispered something to Joshuah and James, gave each a hug and walked out the door. Once outside the house, Chelsia told Big Brother host Julie Chen that she had informed Joshuah not to second-guess himself before physical challenges and told James that he can "do very well in this game." Chelsia then explained why she didn't plead her case when given the opportunity.
"I knew [I was going to be evicted]," she said. "I talked to people in this house, and I just knew. I had the gut feeling and I said I was going to go out with a bang."
Julie then asked how she felt about James not giving her a sympathy vote -- especially considering Chelsia gave James a sympathy vote two weeks ago when he was unanimously evicted only to be brought back in as part of a ninth-season twist.
"That was dumb of me, and that was playing with my heart and not my head," she explained. "I told him to play with his head and not his heart... I didn't want him to hang himself. I said that if I couldn't win this, I wanted to see him win."
Julie asked if Chelsia's breakdown over the last few days was a sign she had quit.
"No. Not at all," answered Chelsia. "I definitely talked to people and I knew James and Joshuah had immediately said that they would not be voting for me. So therefore I needed Natalie, Sheila and Ryan's vote. Natalie and I have not connected from Day 1 in this house -- she does not like me, I don't like her -- it's quite obvious. I didn't give up. I definitely talked to them, I definitely tried."

"Mistake No. 2 is bringing them back into the game," said Chelsia, which is what she helped do after James had been ousted. "I should have had my head on straight and I should have said, 'Wow! This is a great opportunity. He's gone, I can play this game.' At that moment, evidently I wasn't thinking that because I voted him back."
Chelsia then viewed an emotional video message from James, who said the $500,000 grand prize isn't worth as much to him as it is to "be with someone like you," adding he'd like to continue dating outside the house.
"The game... It's hard," said Chelsia, who was now crying. "I came in here with the attitude that you could put whoever in-front of me and I'm not going to fall for anybody -- I'm here to play a game. This game is a lot harder than it seems..."
Julie concluded by asking point-blank if a romance with James is going to happen outside the house.
"I guess we'll see. I need to watch this season before because I don't trust a lot of situations in this house," said Chelsia. "We'll sit down together and we'll watch Big Brother 9."
Following Chelsia's eviction, the seven remaining houseguests -- minus Adam, who as the outgoing HoH, was deemed ineligible to compete -- competed in the ninth season's fourth individual HoH competition.
Dubbed "Big Brother Election," home viewers were asked to answer questions on CBS' website about each of the remaining houseguests as if they were running for president. On an American flag-like game board, the houseguests were told to raise either their right or left hand to answer questions. The player in the lead after seven questions would be the new HoH.
Natalie answered six of the seven questions correctly and won the challenge, becoming HoH for the first time.
