Chris Harrison believes Hannah Brown's ex-fiance Jed Wyatt should appear on the franchise's new The Bachelor: Listen to Your Heart spinoff this spring in order to redeem himself.

"I think he needs a chance to maybe redeem himself, musically and emotionally. I think he bombed on both," Chris, 48, recently told Us Weekly.
"It was a tragic ending to his story on so many levels."

While trying to win Hannah over on Season 15 of The Bachelorette last year, Jed sang and performed music on his guitar about a handful of times throughout the course of the season.

Jed even serenaded Hannah during his marriage proposal, which made most fans of the show cringe instead of swoon.
Jed got engaged to Hannah during the show's finale, which aired in July 2019, but she dumped him nearly a month later because she found out Jed had lied to her about having had a girlfriend back home while he was competing on the show for her heart.
Jed initially told Hannah that his romance with ex Haley Stevens ended one week before taping commenced, but Haley told People in June 2019 that Jed left Nashville to film the show in March of that year still dating her.
Haley also alleged in her interview Jed had said he was only going on the show to promote his music and promised they'd resume their relationship once he returned home.
Jed quickly became a controversial figure and the target of hate as The Bachelorette fans rallied around Hannah during and after the finale aired in late July 2019 on ABC.

Jed apologized for his behavior multiple times on the finale and insisted he truly loved Hannah, but it just wasn't enough to convince Hannah to stay in the toxic relationship.

The former couple apparently had problems -- including trust and jealousy issues -- even before the Haley incident occurred.
Despite Chris wanting Jed to appear on The Bachelor: Listen to Your Heart, the probability is seemingly slight since he just went Instagram official with girlfriend Ellen Decker late last year.
Jed debuted Ellen on Instagram in October 2019 and then confirmed he's in a relationship and serious about the Miami-based model on Thanksgiving.

The pair have been documenting their romance on social media ever since, and they apparently spent Christmas together.
According to her Instagram account, Ellen is a personal trainer, model and teacher who moved to Miami in late 2017.
Prior to moving to Miami, Ellen, a Massachusetts native, attended Southern New Hampshire University and was a member of the school's women's lacrosse team, according to SNHU's athletics website.
Jed also clearly had a terrible experience with the way his time on The Bachelorette ended, so it would be a surprise if he chose to appear on another spinoff of the franchise.
Jed admitted to Us in September 2019 he had a tough time getting back into his singing career after all The Bachelorette drama, which included his name being splashed across unflattering headlines in the media.

"With how crazy everything was, it was honestly kind of hard for me. My head was just so out of everything. The only thing that I really felt like doing was like being alone or journaling or going fishing," Jed told the magazine at the time.
"For some reason I couldn't get the pen to paper to write or be creative like that. It was just such a low spot. I'd sit down and try to write, try to play and my head wasn't in it."
But Jed isn't the only memorable singer in Bachelor Nation.
When asked to name some options of former contestants who could appear on The Bachelor: Listen to Your Heart, Chris suggested, "Maybe James Taylor from back in the day?"
James Taylor competed on JoJo Fletcher's season of The Bachelorette 12 in 2016.
"Kaitlyn Bristowe loves to sing but I think she's already in love," Chris added in his interview with Us, referencing Kaitlyn's relationship with The Bachelorette alum Jason Tartick.
"I think you may see some people and then maybe some of these people end up in the franchise elsewhere. Who knows?"
The Bachelor: Listen to Your Heart is set to premiere Monday, April 13 at 8PM ET/PT on ABC.
In the meantime, Peter Weber's season of The Bachelor is currently airing on Monday nights in that timeslot.
