Chris Harrison has touched upon some major conversation topics in Bachelor Nation -- including whether producers persuaded Kaitlyn Bristowe to reject runner-up Nick Viall mid-marriage proposal.

When asked how Bristowe and Booth are thriving post The Bachelorette, Harrison said they're "doing great."
"They're very much in love -- living and loving life and doing really good," he said, adding that producers did not force Bristowe to reject Viall just as he was taking out an engagement ring and getting down on one knee.
"Bachelors and Bachelorettes never, ever, in the history of the show, have ever had an earpiece in," Harrison said. "If [Kaitlyn] had an earpiece in, I would have said, 'Let him get all the way down on his knee. Don't stop it!' Let me tell you, a real producer would've made him get all the way down. Take out the ring [and pop the question]."
Although Harrison was joking, fans in Viall's camp found his heartbreak truly cruel and terrible. Based on what Viall went through on The Bachelorette's tenth and eleventh seasons, Harrison suggested the software salesman should give up dating on TV.
"I think Nick's been beaten enough. He just needs to go find love. He's a sincere guy, don't you think? He just needs to go find love maybe elsewhere," Harrison noted.
Bachelor Nation may be skeptical as to whether Bristowe and Booth's relationship will last, but according to the franchise host, the former dance instructor can do one thing to help their chances. Harrison believes when the show's leading men or women compete on Dancing with the Stars immediately afterward, it can hurt any blossoming relationship or engagement.
"I don't love it. I don't love them going to do Dancing with the Stars. I don't. I don't think it helps. It helps them and they get money and it helps their career and it helps Dancing with the Stars, because the people on our show are usually, nine times out of 10, the biggest stars on DWTS," Harrison explained.
After all, The Bachelor's nineteenth-season star Chris Soules proposed to Whitney Bischoff at the conclusion of his edition but then their romance quickly crumbled, seemingly due to his stint on the time-consuming reality dance competition. Rumors also flared Soules was too flirty with his attractive pro partner Witney Carson.
"If you're really there for love," Harrison continued, "there are people that can overcome that. Sean Lowe obviously did it successfully. You're just at such a tenuous point in your relationship, it's best to kind of go back to your life and work on your relationship."
