The Bachelor fans believe its star Chris Soules is an honest and down-to-earth gentleman thus far, but those qualities clearly don't help him keep secrets well.

Soules, a 33-year-old farmer and businessman from Arlington, IA -- who's made it clear he's not exactly comfortable with the whole TV experience -- appeared on Jimmy Kimmel Live Monday night to discuss the current season, and when asked his thoughts on a handful of bachelorettes shortly after the nineteenth season premiered, Soules accidentally gave a little bit too much away.

Tara Eddings, a 26-year-old sport fishing enthusiast from Ft. Lauderdale, FL, came up in the conversation first. Talk show host Jimmy Kimmel pointed her out as the girl who got wasted, but as viewers know, she still received a rose at the first ceremony.

"She was drunk for the majority of the [night]. When I first talked to her, she was good to go. She was in good shape. So I got to know her sober and then realized at the end it wasn't that way," Soules explained.

The Bachelor first watched the premiere alone as a way to screen the debut episode, but then he sat down and watched it again with his parents.

Kimmel said Soules' parents "must have been thrilled" about Eddings earning a rose.

"They weren't really excited about the drunk one," Soules admitted.

Kimmel then determined Eddings is "out then," and Soules just shrugged and said, "Well..."

"Good, we're getting some information here," Kimmel interjected with a laugh.

Kaitlyn Bristowe, a 29-year-old dance instructor from Vancouver, BC, was up for discussion next.

"Kaitlyn seemed like a lot of fun," Kimmel noted.
   
"She was great," Soules confirmed.

"Yeah?" Kimmel asked.

"Yes," Soules said with confidence.

"Ohh, I like the way you said that," Kimmel replied.

Kimmel then showed a picture of Ashley Salter, a 24-year-old hairstylist from Brooklyn, NY, who bizarrely ranted about an onion in the premiere -- although it actually turned out to be a pomegranate -- and received a rose.

"True or false -- seems to be crazy?" Kimmel questioned.

"Crazy," Soules replied matter of factly.

Kimmel teased Soules about how he's not supposed to give any of these details away.

"I probably went too far. I'm sorry everyone!" Soules yelled to the audience.

Kimmel jokingly told the Bachelor he should just reveal which girl he picked since he's not good at lying anyways, and then Soules tried to cover up his tracks by saying with a laugh, "Maybe I like crazy! I don't know."

One of Soules' more telling confessions spilled out when Kimmel wanted to talk about Britt Nilsson, a 27-year-old waitress from Hollywood, CA, who received the coveted first-impression rose. Kimmel was surprised he hasn't seen Nilsson at any of the restaurants he's visited in Los Angeles, so it prompted the host to question whether she just works at a Hooters.

"I don't know. We never got that far in the details," Soules revealed, "exactly where."

Kimmel laughed and said they should probably stop the interview in its tracks to avoid an ABC lawsuit. Soules cracked up, realizing he hadn't done a great job of being evasive.

Soules apparently learned his lesson at that point and therefore approached his discussion about Jillian Anderson, a 25-year-old news producer from Washington, D.C., differently. However, Kimmel wasn't buying his act.

"She seems dangerous because she seems like she could beat everybody up if she wanted to," Kimmel said of Anderson. "She was doing squats, yeah, she's very physically fit. Is this your type of woman -- very muscular?"

After a moment of hesitation, Soules replied, "I mean, she's a cute girl."

"Okay, I'll take that as a no," Kimmel said while chuckling.

The second episode of The Bachelor's nineteenth season airs next Monday night at 8PM ET/PT on ABC. The broadcast will pick up right where the last one left off, with Kimberly Sherbach confronting Soules about not getting a rose and wanting a second chance.
