Todd Chrisley, the star of USA Network's new reality show Chrisley Knows Best, is already shooting down rumors he's gay before his show even premieres.

"What you see is what you get. I am what I am. Other people's opinions of me are just not my business."
Chrisley has been married to his wife Julie for 18 years and the couple has five children together. But according to People, the soon-to-be reality TV star has no problem admitting he's flamboyant, enthusiastic about fashion and an Elton John fan.
"So what?" Chrisley said, recalling a fairly recent time when a man had tweeted him a request to come out of the closet.
"I said, 'I don't live in a closet, but if you'd like me to escort you out of yours I'm happy to do so.' All of a sudden the Tweet went away and he took it down because I flipped the script on him."
Strangely enough, Chrisley's own eldest daughter Lindsay feels her father is gay. She reportedly advised Chrisley to be prepared in the case he becomes a "gay pop icon."
"I said, 'Lindsay, I'd rather be a gay pop icon than I would a redneck... I'm 45. I really don't care what your opinion of me is. The fact that you are thinking about [what] I'm doing in my bedroom at 45 is exciting to me,'" Chrisley said.
Chrisley Knows Best, which USA announced it had ordered back in December, debuts Tuesday night at 10PM ET/PT.
