Chrissy Teigen says she didn't see her body as "particularly sexual" until she had her first child.
"I think you just feel really feminine," Teigen explained in the interview.
"I always felt like a bit of a tomboy, and I never looked at my body as particularly sexual -- I wasn't a curvy girl," she elaborated. "But to be able to see my body afterwards, and of course, you get, like, hips. Finally, for the first time, I feel like I have a bit more of a womanly figure."
Teigen gave birth to Luna in April.
She told Cosmopolitan prior to her daughter's birth that she was feeling more self-assured than ever while pregnant, despite the inevitable changes to her body."I really do feel more confident," the star admitted. "There is something very beautiful about being pregnant. I think I enjoy being pregnant more than not being pregnant."
"I'm doing everything I can to take really good care of myself right now," she added at the time. "Now I have more of a steady routine."
"This next performer is a brilliant musician and a wonderful father, who makes a pretty damn good breakfast sandwich," the model said. "He has been known to write love songs about me. What can I say, I'm very inspiring."
Teigen is known for her modeling work with Sports Illustrated and for hosting the Spike series "Lip Sync Battle."
Legend last released the album Darkness and Light on Dec. 2.
