CMT announced it has tapped network VJ Lance Smith to serve as the host of Can You Duet's second season.

Smith will replace former Temptation Island first-season single Rossi Morreale, who helmed the reality competition series' first season last spring.
In addition, CMT also announced that two new yet-to-be-announced judges will be joining Naomi Judd on Can You Duet's second-season panel. Judd served as a judge on the show's first installment along with vocal coach Brett Manning and songwriter Aimee Mayo, who will not be reprising their roles.
Although Can You Duet will feature some new faces for its second season, the new edition will follow a similar format with a group of contestants competing to win a recording contract and be crowned the best new country duo in America.
Unlike other reality singing competitions like American Idol and Nashville Star, Can You Duet doesn't use home viewer voting to determine its contestant eliminations. Instead, all the eliminations -- including the final one that determines the competition's champion -- are decided by the show's judges.

Caitlin Lynn, a 22-year-old from Glen Burnie, MD, and Will Snyder, a 22-year-old from London, KY, were crowned the show's first-season champions during the show's June finale.
CMT renewed Can You Duet for a second season last month.
