Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders: Making the Team is scheduled to premiere Friday, September 14 at 8PM ET/PT.

Making the Team will begin its eight-episode run with thousands of cheerleading hopefuls auditioning for a role with the Dallas Cowboys at the team's Texas Stadium.  Cheerleaders will be cut throughout the course of the season as they complete in various challenges at the try-outs, from mastering the team's signature kick-line to memorizing dance routines.

In addition, CMT announced Kelli Finglass, director of the Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders: fitness instructor Jay Johnson; and team choreographer Judy Trammell will also all be returning for Making the Team's second season to help test the physical and mental strength of the hopefuls.

"Becoming a Dallas Cowboys Cheerleader is a lot of hard work and extremely competitive," said Finglass. "Most people don't understand the long hours of physical and mental conditioning that these girls go through to become one of just 36 chosen to make the team. This series shows you everything - the highs, the lows and everything in between."

Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders: Making the Team is produced by Triage Entertainment, with Finglass, Stu Schreiberg, Stephen Kroopnick and Eugene Pack serving as executive producers.  Bob Kusbit and Melanie Moreau will serve as executive producers for CMT.
