CMT has announced it's ordered Hulk Hogan's Celebrity Championship Wrestling, a new Ty Murray's Celebrity Bull Riding Challenge-like reality series that is currently slated to premiere this fall.

Hulk Hogan's Celebrity Championship Wrestling will follow 10 celebrity contestants as they are trained to be professional wrestlers by American Gladiators co-host Terrence "Hulk Hogan" Bollea, who also helped develop the show's concept.
"The CMT audience loves professional wrestling, so a show where superstar Hulk Hogan trains celebrities, gets them into character and into the ring, and really pulls back the curtain on how intense, colorful and difficult it is to be a champion, is a big win for us and our viewers," said CMT executive Bob Kusbit.
The 10 celebrity participants will be divided into two teams of five and compete in various team challenges, training scenarios and elimination matches, after which they'll be judged by Hogan, wrestling promoter and former World Championship Wrestling president Eric Bischoff, and a third yet-to-be-announced judge.
The winner of the eight-episode series will be crowned "Celebrity All-Star Wrestling Champion."

"I am excited to have this opportunity at CMT to get the chance to run wild with their audience," said Hogan. "As I looked at the sports entertainment landscape, I realized it was time to shake things up from the traditional formats people have become used to seeing."
Hulk Hogan's Celebrity Championship Wrestling is produced by Bischoff-Hervey Entertainment, with Hogan, Bischoff and Jason Hervey serving as executive producers. Melanie Moreau and Bob Kusbit are executive producers for CMT.
Ty Murray's Celebrity Bull Riding Challenge, a Dancing with the Stars-like reality series that followed a celebrity cast as they attempted bull riding under the tutelage of Murray, aired on CMT last summer.
