The wife of the "Crocodile Hunter" said she is coping with his tragic death "one minute at a time -- sometimes an hour at a time with great faith, great determination," in an interview with Barbara Walters, ABC reported Tuesday.

Steve Irwin died Sept. 4, after being stung through the heart by a stingray barb during TV filming in the Great Barrier Reef.

Walters also spoke with the Irwins' children, Bindi Sue, 8, and Bob, 2.

Bindi gained acclaim for her speech at her father's memorial service, during which she said, "I don't want daddy's passion to ever end." And: "I want to help endangered wildlife just like he did. I had the best daddy in the whole world."
