Daisy Kent has revealed if it was really her idea to have a sitdown chat with Kelsey Anderson right before the Final Rose Ceremony on Joey Graziadei's The Bachelor season.

Daisy therefore sought out Kelsey in her hotel room to compare notes ahead of the Final Rose Ceremony. Daisy let Kelsey know that something was "off" and "missing" in her relationship with Joey, essentially spilling the tea that Kelsey was going to be Joey's winner.
During a recent episode of "The Viall Files" podcast, Season 21 The Bachelor star Nick Viall asked Daisy how she arrived at the decision to speak with Kelsey, which was a first for The Bachelor franchise given a season's Final 2 contestants are typically separated from each other.
"I was very vocal about [the fact] it wasn't me," Daisy told Nick.
"I knew it wasn't me, and I knew it felt wrong. And I said, 'If I'm feeling this way, there's no way he's not feeling this way.' And it was really, really hard."
Daisy shared of Kelsey and their unprecedented pre-Final Rose Ceremony chat, "If it would've been a different girl besides Kelsey that I didn't build such a good friendship with and somebody who I didn't know and respect, [I may have acted differently]."
"I don't know, we just had a lot of really good conversations and we were really good friends on the show, especially towards the end," Daisy added. "[Otherwise], I wouldn't have went and done that. But I did."
Daisy was apparently surprised by the backlash she received from many fans, who had accused her of spoiling the ending for Kelsey and ruining the surprise of her engagement.
"I wish people could've saw the whole conversation between me and her, but obviously, like, it's a two-hour show and it gets cut," Daisy pointed out.
Daisy went on to recall what she and Kelsey talked about that never aired on The Bachelor's March 25 finale.
"We were very supportive of each other," Daisy noted.

"I was like, 'I know he's not my person. I know he's your person.' And she was like, 'I love him so much... I've been worried about you, because I thought it was me, if you were going to be okay.' I was like, 'I'm okay and I want you to be happy.' That was kind of the gist of it."

When asked why she went to Kelsey's hotel room instead of Joey's room, Daisy explained, "I wanted to talk to Kelsey because I wanted to make sure that she knew that I supported them and that, even though it did really hurt in the moment, I wanted her to know, 'I want you to be happy.'"
And Daisy believes that her talk with Kelsey brought a sense of relief to the bachelorette.
"I got confirmation and she got confirmation, too," Daisy noted.
Daisy and Kelsey then rode in the same van to the Final Rose Ceremony, which was another first for The Bachelor franchise.
"In the car, we had a conversation. I was like, 'Today is your day,'" Daisy recalled. "It was a really cool moment between me and Kelsey, and I'll always be thankful for it."
Daisy insisted that she doesn't regret anything she did on the finale.

"That day for me, it was really hard and it did honestly suck, but it was also uplifting too. And so, I am really thankful that she was there to be there for me, and also that I was able to be there for her... [She and Joey] are perfect for each other."
Nick mentioned how Daisy being so upfront about her feelings probably let Joey off the hook because a lead is in such "a difficult position" at the Final Rose Ceremony.
"Yeah, definitely," Daisy agreed. "And I knew it was probably killing him because he's so nice, and I know he didn't want to hurt me, and that's what had to happen."

Once the Final Rose Ceremony commenced, Daisy confronted Joey first and basically bowed out of the competition before he could officially dump her in second place.
"Falling in love with you has been so fun and I do love you. But the thing is, you're not going to choose me," Daisy told Joey.
Joey immediately broke down into tears, confirming that Daisy's prediction was correct.
Daisy told Joey that she realized he wasn't her "person," and she added, "I know that you know I'm not your person. And as much as that hurts, umm, I know you said you want what's best for me, and so I'm going to do what's best for me -- and I'm going to go."
Joey called Daisy "special" and offered to walk her out, but Daisy decided to do that on her own.
"I'm going to miss you," Joey cried while hugging his second-place bachelorette.
"I'm going to miss you too," Daisy responded in tears. "I'm pulling for you!"
Daisy then returned to the van, hugged Kelsey, and wished Joey's winner the best.

Daisy turned down an opportunity to star on The Bachelorette's upcoming 21st season, and the position ultimately went to Jenn Tran, who is currently filming the season.
