Daisy decided to move to Los Angeles, CA, after her stint on The Bachelor.
"I've gone on dates since I've been off the show," Daisy confirmed during a recent appearance on "The Viall Files" podcast.
"They've been very low key because I didn't want to [spoil The Bachelor's ending]."
Nick joked about how Daisy's dates must have been watching a movie at home since she couldn't be seen with a man out in public. After all, Joey's The Bachelor finale didn't air until March 25.
"Come cut down a Christmas tree!" Daisy quipped, referencing how she began dating again before her move.
Daisy shared, "I'd be down to get in a relationship if it's with someone I really care about. I'm not going to say, 'No.' If it happens, it happens."
But Daisy noted, "Whoever I'm with, I'm going to be very vocal about how, at this time in my life, it's a time I know when I really need to focus on me, just because, like I said in the finale, I haven't been healthy and I haven't been happy in a really long time."
Daisy began losing her hearing as a teenager, and she was finally diagnosed with Lyme disease. Daisy participated in an aggressive and lengthy treatment program in Germany, and then she received a cochlear implant in Spring 2023.
Daisy went through a lot of life changes not long before filming The Bachelor, and so she announced on After the Final Rose how she'd like to rest, focus on herself, and spend quality time with her family and friends.
Because of what Daisy wants to accomplish this year, The Bachelorette's upcoming 21st season is not in the cards for her. ABC picked Jenn Tran to star on the show instead, and Jenn's season has already started filming.

Daisy said she's both happy and healthy at the moment and so it's time to put herself.
"But I'd be down to get in a relationship," Daisy reiterated.
On The Bachelor: After the Final Rose, which aired live on March 25, Daisy announced that she wasn't interested in being the franchise's next leading lady.
Daisy revealed on Nick's podcast that "it was two weeks before" After the Final Rose when she had made her final decision.
"[The producers] were all super nice and respectful," noted Joey's The Bachelor runner-up.
"They understood all of my reasons, too, and they still want to see me grow and do other things. They said, 'If we can help you in any way, we want to.'"

Daisy also shared that her health was one of the reasons why she had declined The Bachelorette opportunity.

"You're up super late, and it's nonstop. I talked to a lot of past leads when [ABC] was in talks with me, and I just knew from a health point, it would be a lot."
Daisy went on to clarify, "It's also not that I'm not ready to date; it's that I wasn't ready for that specific thing."
Daisy said she was scared of "not getting enough sleep" during The Bachelorette process and essentially struggling through the whole thing.
"I knew they would take care of me, and they made that very evident that they would," Daisy revealed.
"But also, the fact you're hurting other people... I mean, there's usually what -- around 30 people? I can't send everyone home at once, you know what I mean? What if I didn't like them? I don't think I could actually sit there and kiss somebody [I didn't like]."
Nick joked, from experience, that "it's brutal," and then Daisy shared how she definitely "thought really long and hard" about the opportunity before passing on it.
"A lot of it, it wasn't an easy decision. I was wondering after it got announced, how I would feel, and if I'd be like, 'Oh, I wish I would've done it.' But I'm so happy right now that I didn't," Daisy admitted.
"So it feels good. I know I made the right decision for me."
Nick pointed out how many contestants wouldn't have "the guts or the emotional maturity" to turn down an offer like that.
"I think I know when things are getting too much and when it would be too much for me," Daisy explained.
"I'm not someone who easily turns down opportunities, especially something like that, but there's also so much I want to do, and right now, I just felt like it was important that I kind of take control over my life and the path I want to do."

"Some people said, 'It's the hardest thing I've ever done,' but a lot of people were like, 'It's the best thing, too.' No one regretted doing it, but people were like, 'If you're doing it, make sure you're ready.' It just didn't feel right," Daisy shared.
Since Daisy repeatedly said she's not ready for The Bachelorette "right now," Nick asked the Minnesota native if she'd be open to starring on The Bachelorette in 2025 or later -- or if she feels content with letting that go away.
"Right now, I'm content with letting that go away, and I know most people might not understand that," Daisy said. "I think if you were to ask me, even a year ago, 'Do you think this would be a possibility?' I would be like, 'Oh my gosh, 100 percent I'll do it.'"
Daisy shared how people on social media were accusing her of campaigning to be The Bachelorette star while Joey's season was airing.
"And I was like, 'No, it's quite the opposite, actually,'" Daisy said.
But Daisy confirmed her decision wasn't based on trying to prove anyone wrong, adding, "It was definitely just something that was about me."
Daisy also said she probably won't be up for filming Bachelor in Paradise's tenth season this year either.
On The Bachelor's Season 28 finale, Daisy and Kelsey Anderson were Joey's Final 2 bachelorettes in Tulum, Mexico.
After both women met Joey's family and had a final date with him, Daisy predicted that she wasn't going to end up with Joey.
Daisy therefore sought out Kelsey in her hotel room to essentially compare notes about their week.
Daisy admitted to Kelsey that something felt "off" and seemed to be "missing" with Joey during their last date, and so she arguably spoiled the fact that Kelsey was going to be Joey's winner.

Joey proceeded to reunite with Kelsey and profess his love to her, and the pair got engaged in Tulum. Joey and Kelsey are still together and planning a move to New York City this summer.
