Dale, a 32-year-old from Brandon, SD, had to jump through hoops to appear on The Bachelorette's 2020 season amid the ongoing coronavirus pandemic given he had to wait about four months for filming to begin after ABC had announced him as one of Clare's potential suitors all the way back in March.

However, all of Dale's effort probably seemed worth it once Clare laid her eyes on Dale for the first time and flashed a huge smile.
