Dancing with the Stars producers may want to start checking fourth season contestant Heather Mills for duct tape or super glue, as the former British model has reportedly bet that her prosthetic left leg will stay on throughout the reality competition series.

The 38-year-old estranged wife of former Beatle Paul McCartney was hit by a police motorcycle while crossing a London street in August 1993 -- crushing her ribs and giving her a punctured lung. She also needed a metal plate in her pelvis and had her left leg amputated below the knee.
In early March Mills proclaimed she had little doubt the prosthetic would come off while competing on Dancing with the Stars' fourth season, but gambling websites have still been taking bets that the leg might come off.
The fourth season premiere of Dancing with the Stars last Monday night delivered big ratings for ABC, and Mills told Leno she knows why.
"Most of the nation was watching to see if my leg would fly off. That's why I've got this strap on," Mills told Leno, kicking her leg in the air several times to demonstrate the prosthetic was held-in tightly. "Everyone's betting on it, so I've bet a few hundred dollars it will stay on."
Mills also disclosed that while she's embattled in divorce proceedings with McCartny, he did send her flowers following the Dancing with the Stars premiere to wish her the best of luck.
