The couple topped the leaderboard after they received 24.5 out of 30 possible points from Dancing with the Stars' new scoring system, which features 0.5 intervals for the first time in the show's history, for their cha cha routine from Dancing with the Stars judges Len Goodman, Carrie Ann Inaba and Bruno Tonioli.
Actress Pamela Anderson and partner Tristan MacManus finished in thirteenth -- and last -- place at the bottom of the leaderboard after they performed a cha cha routine which received only 17 points from the judges. Anderson had originally competed with partner Damian Whitewood and finished in sixth place on Dancing with the Stars' tenth season in 2010.
Actor Gilles Marini finished in second place with partner Peta Murgatroyd after they earned 24 points for their foxtrot performance. Marini was previously paired with Burke for Dancing with the Stars' eighth season in 2009 which he had finished in second place.
Singer and former Disney Channel star Sabrina Bryan and partner Louis van Amstel landed in third place on Monday night's leaderboard following their cha cha routine which received 22.5 points from the judges.
Bryan -- who was allowed to enter the competition after winning the "Viewers' Choice: All-Star" vote in August -- competed with Mark Ballas her first time around on Dancing with the Stars' fifth season in Fall 2007. The pair had finished in seventh place after what was considered unexpectedly early elimination.
Fourth place on the judges' leaderboard represented a tie between Olympic gold medalist speed skater Apolo Anton Ohno and Olympic gold medalist gymnast Shawn Johnson after they both earned 22 points for their dances from the judges.
Ohno, who won Dancing with the Stars' fourth season with Julianne Hough in 2007, and new partner Karina Smirnoff danced the cha cha. Meanwhile, Johnson and partner Derek Hough performed a foxtrot routine. Johnson won Dancing with the Stars' eighth season with Ballas in 2009.
Sixth place on the leaderboard featured a three-way tie between former 98 Degrees singer Drew Lachey, soap star Kelly Monaco and IndyCar racer Helio Castroneves -- who all received 21.5 points from the judges.
Lachey, who won Dancing with the Stars' second season with Burke in 2006, and partner Anna Trebunskaya and Castroneves and partner Chelsie Hightower danced foxtrot routines. Castroneves won Dancing with the Stars' fifth season in 2007 with Julianne Hough.
In addition, Monaco and partner Val Chmerkovskiy performed a cha cha routine. Monaco won Dancing with the Stars' inaugural season in 2005 with partner Alec Mazo.
