The two-time Dancing with the Stars professional champion plans to open Cheryl Burke Dance this week in her native San Francisco, E! News reported Friday.

"Cheryl Burke Dance is an exciting opportunity for me to give back to a city that has supported me throughout my career," said Burke, according to E! News. "It will be a place where students of all ages can come to explore ballroom dance and learn a little bit more about a sport that I've spent my life traveling around the world, promoting and performing."

Cheryl Burke Dance's grand opening is scheduled for April 4, according to E! News, and is expected to be attended by her second-season partner Drew Lachey, with whom she won her first mirror ball trophy

In addition,  Dancing with the Stars host Tom Bergeron; second-season participant Jerry Rice; and her current sixth-season partner Cristian de la Fuente are also expected to attend.  Burke and de la Fuente will also perform during the event.

"Dance is such a fun, upbeat sport, and I'm hoping to have new students enroll for the physical fitness aspect as well as a love of dance," said Burke.

Lachey's scheduled appearance at the event could be considered as a surprise as rumors surfaced last week that claimed Lachey and Burke had an affair this past winter during Dancing with the Stars - The Tour. Both have since denied the rumors.
