J.R. Martinez fans may soon be able to learn more about the newly-crowned Dancing with the Stars champion.

The Iraqi war veteran and former All My Children soap star is planning to write a memoir to tell his life story, The New York Post reported.

The book will be "full of things people don't know," Martinez's representative Cynthia Snyder told The Post.

Martinez reportedly began writing the memoir before he appeared on Dancing with the Stars' thirteenth season, but his exposure on the show heightened interest -- landing him meetings with publishers this week to discuss his options.

However, Martinez will continue acting.

"He definitely wants to act," Snyder added.

Martinez was awarded Dancing with the Stars' mirrorball trophy last week during the show's thirteenth-season live finale results show on ABC after beating out fellow contestants Ricki Lake, a former talk show host, and Keeping Up with the Kardashians sibling Rob Kardashian based on the combination of the judges' scoring points and their share of home viewer votes.
