Alexa and her temporary pro partner Derek Hough finished Monday night in first place after receiving a perfect score of 40 out of 40 points from Dancing with the Stars judges Carrie Ann Inaba, Bruno Tonioli and Julianne Hough as well as guest judge Maksim Chmerkovskiy.
Derek and Alexa, who was originally paired in the competition with Mark Ballas, topped the judges' leaderboard with their tango performance.
Second place on the judges' leaderboard went to Alexa's husband Carlos PenaVega and his "Switch-Up" pro partner Lindsay Arnold. The pair earned 39 points for their quickstep routine. Carlos' original partner was Witney Carson.
Bindi Irwin, the daughter of the late Crocodile Hunter Steve Irwin, finished in third place with 37 points. Although initially matched with Derek, she performed the cha cha with Val Chmerkovskiy this week.

Crooner Andy Grammer, whose original partner in the competition is Allison Holker, danced the Argentine tango with Sharna Burgess last night. Andy and Sharna received 36 points from the judges and therefore landed in fourth place on the leaderboard.
Backstreet Boys member Nick Carter and his temporary partner Witney took the stage with a 35-point worthy paso doble and finished the night in fifth place. Nick will return to his original partner, Sharna, next week.
Sixth place on the judges' leaderboard was claimed by Internet sensation Hayes Grier and Allison. Hayes and Allison danced the Viennese waltz and earned 31 points from the judges. Hayes began the competition working with Emma Slater.
But right on Hayes and Allison's heels were Emma and her temporary celebrity partner Alek Skarlatos. Alek and Emma tied for seventh place on the leaderboard with another couple after they performed a rumba that received 29 points.
Tamar Braxton, a singer, talk show host and sister of Toni Braxton, and her pro partner Louis van Amstel also earned 29 points for their samba routine. Tamar was originally paired with Val.

Celebrity chef Paula Deen -- who works with Louis every week -- took the stage with Mark this time around. Paula and Mark danced the jive and earned only 26 points. The pair therefore fell into last place on the judges' leaderboard.
This week's "Switch-Up" couples were chosen by America's tweets and online votes.
The judges' votes and home viewer votes cast following last night's episode will combine with those from the week prior to determine the fourth DWTS elimination next Monday night.
