Cody Simpson, an Australian pop star who's currently competing on Dancing with the Stars' eighteenth season, must apparently be careful because his supermodel girlfriend has set boundaries for him.

"Has she teased me? Not necessarily," Simpson, 17, told People of his decision to appear on the show to begin with. "She's like, 'Don't move your hips too much in front of [pro partner Witney Carson].'"
Simpson assured the magazine his girlfriend Gigi Hadid's comments were "great" and all "in good fun."
Hadid was present in the audience during Dancing with the Stars' Monday night premiere. She appeared to be smiling while giving Simpson a standing ovation after he and Carson, 20, performed a cha cha worthy of 22 judges' points.
"It was great," Simpson said. "I had her, I had my grandparents here from Australia, and I had my whole family here. It's nice to have that support from the loved ones. I love my family and obviously my girlfriend, so we had a great time."

While he seems to be having fun on the show, Simpson admitted to People the experience is "more nerve-racking" than a typical musical performance he's done.
"[It's] because this is so new. You have three people watching your every move. You have a lot of people in the room and then millions of people behind the lenses. It's a lot to take in," he explained. "[But] I love being on stage and I love to groove, so it's been fun. It's nice to get the first routine out of the way."
Carson also expressed how she's thrilled to have the talented teen as her celebrity partner, especially since Season 18 is her first time appearing as a pro dancer on the show.
"I was stressing about it for so long and I wanted to make a big impact with Cody," Carson told the magazine after Monday night's show. "I feel so lucky to have him as a partner. He's such a hard worker. I think we killed it tonight, and I'm really happy about it."
