Dancing with the Stars couple Peta Murgatroyd and Maksim Chmerkovskiy have revealed whether they have a baby boy or girl on the way.

"I've been quietly preparing myself to be a real-life wolf pack Mumma with our THIRD baby boy on the way," Peta wrote in a joint posting with Maksim, alongside a video of the gender reveal.
"I CANNOT BELIEVE WE WILL HAVE 3 BOYS!!"
The new baby will join Peta and Maksim's two sons: Shai, 7, and Rio John, 8 months.
In the video, Maksim and Peta were shown participating in a family photo shoot with their parents and kids.
Peta and Maksim ultimately discovered the sex of Baby No. 3 by setting off a cannon that expelled blue smoke into the air. The couple also cut into a cake filled with blue and white candy balls.
The cake featured a big gold question mark ontop of the frosting, and the beautiful dessert read, "We're here for the sex!"
Peta and Maksim appeared thrilled with the news, and footage captured their eldest son running outdoors while carrying huge blue balloons.
"Maks and I are beyond happy to have another buddy for Shai and Rio," Peta continued in the post. "We want them to be the best of friends and thinking about family dinners already makes us laugh!"
Peta and the So You Think You Can Dance judge's third son will be born less than a month after Rio celebrates his first birthday.
"When Rio turns 1, I will give birth to this bundle of joy a couple of weeks later," Peta wrote, referencing Rio's June 2023 birthday.

Peta and Maksim announced Peta's third pregnancy in early February.
"We Are Having A Baby. Yes we know...we just had a baby...haha! This was very unexpected at (4 months postpartum with Rio) but we are sooooo happy and so ready to be a family of 5 soon!" Peta captioned a video of herself revealing the good news to Maksim via FaceTime.

Ironically, Peta revealed last year that "literally straight after" Rio's birth in June 2023, Maksim suggested they should have one more child together.
"Surprising @maksimc on this FaceTime with my two friends secretly filming from different angles made it all the more hilarious," Peta continued in her Baby No. 3 announcement.
"It took one hour for me to get the courage to call him, and when he wasn't catching on, we all couldn't stop laughing in the kitchen. I had the 'I'm so sick story,' the pickle, and 2 bottles HAHA! Oh Maks."
The Dancing with the Stars pro went on to call her announcement "special," adding, "After everything we've been through with miscarriages and IVF, we're beyond blessed and know we are uber lucky for this miracle to happen to us."

In the video, Peta tried to drop hints to Maksim that she's pregnant -- including munching on a big pickle, suggesting they should move into a bigger place, and filling two bottles at once -- but he wasn't picking up the clues.
"Babe, this is what I'm trying to tell you," Peta says with a big smile, showing him a positive pregnancy test.
"Babe, stop! No way! What?! Babe, you're pregnant?" Maksim asked.
"Yes, babe! We're pregnant! We're in trouble," Peta responded.
"I'm tearing up. Wow, babe, I'm very happy," Maksim said.
Peta and Maksim's first son, Shai, was born in January 2017. The couple got married six months later in July 2017.
Peta and Maksim have experienced many ups and downs while trying to expand their family.
In a June 2022 interview, Peta shared how she was undergoing in vitro fertilization after suffering three miscarriages in the prior two years.
"It's been a long ride for our family. Each day of those two-and-a-half years I prayed for a miracle," Peta wrote on Instagram at the time.
Peta competed on Season 32 of Dancing with the Stars last year. She and her celebrity partner, The Brady Bunch star Barry Williams, were the eighth couple eliminated from the competition during a mid-November episode.
Peta became a pro partner on Dancing with the Stars for Season 13 in 2011. She competed in a total of 14 seasons and claimed the mirrorball trophy twice.
For Maksim's part, he served as a pro partner and guest judge on Dancing with the Stars.

Maksim is now sitting on the judging panel alongside Allison Holker and JoJo Siwa for So You Think You Can Dance's 18th season, which premiered March 4 on Fox.
JoJo replaced Nigel Lythgoe as a judge after he was recently named in multiple sexual assault lawsuits.
