Dancing with the Stars' eleventh-season competition got off to a good start for actress Jennifer Grey, singer Brandy Norwood and Disney Channel star Kyle Massey.

Grey and professional partner Derek Hough finished in first place on the judges' leaderboard during Dancing with the Stars' eleventh-season premiere on Monday night.

The Dirty Dancing star topped the premiere's leaderboard with Hough after they received 24 out of 30 possible points for their Viennese waltz from Dancing with the Stars judges Len Goodman, Carrie Ann Inaba and Bruno Tonioli.

Norwood and Massey finished tied for second place with 23 points each.  Norwood and partner Maksim Chmerkovskiy also performed a Viennese waltz while Massey and partner Lacey Schwimmer danced a cha cha routine.

Former NBA basketball player Rick Fox and partner Cheryl Burke rounded out the leaderboard's top tier with 22 points for their Viennese waltz -- leaving only four points separating Dancing with the Stars' bottom eight couples.

Three couples finished tied for last place with only 15 points each: actress and comedian Margaret Cho and partner Louis van Amstel, actor and former America's Got Talent judge David Hasselhoff and partner Kym Johnson, and Jersey Shore star Mike "The Situation" Sorrentino and partner Karina Smirnoff.

Cho and van Amstel performed a Viennese waltz while Hasselhoff and Johnson danced a cha cha.  Sorrentino and Smirnoff also danced a cha cha, however unlike the rest of the season's cast which had been practicing for three weeks, they only began rehearsing last Tuesday after Jersey Shore's upcoming third season finished filming.

Singer Michael Bolton and partner Chelsie Hightower finished in ninth place after they received 16 points for their Viennese waltz.

Teen mom Bristol Palin and partner Mark Ballas received 18 points for their cha cha -- the same score as actress Florence Henderson and Ballas' father Corky Ballas received for their own cha cha, leaving both teams tied for seventh place.

Fifth place also represented a tie, with former The Hills star Audrina Patridge and partner Tony Dovolani and recently retired NFL quarterback Kurt Warner and partner Anna Trebunskaya each finishing with 19 points.  Patridge and Dovolani danced a cha cha while Warner and Trebunskaya performed a Viennese waltz.

The judges' scoring and home viewer votes that were cast after Monday night's performances will now be combined and one of the twelve celebrity and professional pairings will be eliminated on Dancing with the Stars' first eleventh-season results show tonight at 8PM ET/PT.
