Former The Bachelor star Jake Pavelka and professional partner Chelsie Hightower became the fifth couple eliminated from Dancing with the Stars' tenth season during Tuesday night's live results show broadcast on ABC.

"This is, I think, the best season of Dancing with the Stars I've ever seen. I was so honored to be here, I enjoyed every second of this. I want to thank Texas, I want to thank all the Mavericks fans, everyone from Canada, all the tweets, Facebooks -- everybody who supported me for keeping me here for six episodes," Pavelka said after Dancing with the Stars host Tom Bergeron revealed the couple's elimination.
"I can't even put into words how much I've enjoyed this. And this is a lot harder than I thought it was going to be to say goodbye," he added as he began to choke up.
"Thank you so much Chelsie, you're one of my best friends," Pavelka continued as he grabbed the microphone from Dancing with the Stars co-host Brooke Burke and teared up as he waved to the audience and Vienna Girardi, his The Bachelor fiancee.
"I have loved every second of this. I love you. Thank you for being so great to my beautiful fiance Vienna. Thank you to everybody for watching and keeping me in. Thank you. Thank you so much."
Prior to Pavelka and Hightower's elimination, Bergeron had revealed that actress, comedian and Clean House host Niecy Nash and partner Louis van Amstel had been the other couple in the week's bottom two based on a combination of the judges' scoring and home viewer votes from Monday night's performances.
Pavelka and Hightower had finished in last place on the Monday night judges' leaderboard with 25 total points after receiving 21 out of 30 points for their samba performance and only four points during the swing dance marathon.
The first couple eliminated from the three-minute marathon had received four points, the second couple got five points, and so on until the last remaining couple had received 10 points.
Pussycat Dolls member Nicole Scherzinger and partner Derek Hough had finished in first place on the judging leaderboard with 36 total points after they received 26 out of 30 possible points -- including a perfect 10 from Tonioli -- for their samba routine and 10 points during the marathon.
They had been followed by ESPN reporter Erin Andrews and partner Maksim Chmerkovskiy, who finished second with 34 total points after receiving 25 points for their own samba and nine points during the marathon.
NFL star Chad Ochocinco and partner Cheryl Burke had finished in third place on the judges' leaderboard with 31 total points after receiving 24 points for their Argentine tango and seven points during the marathon.
Former Baywatch actress Pamela Anderson and partner Damian Whitewood had finished one point behind in fourth place with 30 total points after they performed an Argentine tango that earned 22 points and received eight additional points during the marathon.

Pavelka and Hightower, Nash and van Amstel, and Olympic gold-medal figure skater Evan Lysacek and professional partner Anna Trebunskaya had all initially tied for last place after they each received 21 points from the judges during Monday night's individual performance round.
However Lysacek and Trebunskaya then earned six additional points during the subsequent marathon -- which, when combined with the 21 points they received from their samba, had left them in fifth place on the judges' leaderboard with 27 total points -- while Nash and Louis van Amstel had finished in sixth place with 26 total points after receiving 21 points for their Argentine tango and five points in the marathon.
