"Absolutely. Hey, I got an 8! I got an 8! Just the one, but I got it!" Nancy said with a laugh during a Tuesday appearance with her Dancing with the Stars pro partner Val Chmerkovskiy on Good Morning America.

"But I got to hang out with a 10 all season," Val sweetly said of the actress and Facts of Life alum.

Dancing with the Stars - "Most Memorable Year"

For "Most Memorable Year" night on Dancing with the Stars, Nancy celebrated the year 2006 when her family was completed, paying tribute to her husband and two children.

Nancy had moved from Los Angeles to a Texas ranch to be with her husband and start a family, and her love story inspires Val in light of his engagement to fellow Dancing with the Stars pro, Jenna Johnson.

"Of course [she inspires me]. I couldn't draw all the parallels, but I was inspired by the opportunity to create something of my own that I could be as proud of as she is of her family. And one day, I could, too, be on a reality dance show... and get eliminated!" Val joked.

Nancy said her kids are "so proud" of her journey on Dancing with the Stars, although everyone agrees her time on the show was unfortunately cut short.

"They are so proud and they're troopers because I haven't been home for a month-and-a-half. That's the longest I've really ever been away from them, and I think they were sad for me because they'd like to see me dance, but they were glad for the experience," Nancy explained.

"And they got to come and meet Val, and they loved the experience."

Nancy called Val "a true gentleman" and also said it meant "everything" to her to have her Facts of Life co-stars backing her all the way.

"They are family and my whole life," Nancy said on GMA, referencing Kim Fields in particular. "I've known her since I was 14, so it's just a joy to have that kind of support and love."

Nancy then summed up her time on Dancing with the Stars by quoting Dr. Seuss: "Don't cry because it's over. Smile because it happened."
