Dancing with the Stars host Tyra Banks has admitted she "messed up" during her second week of hosting the show's 29th season and her performance "wasn't perfect."

"Yeah, it wasn't perfect," Tyra, 46, said in a TikTok video she posted after Tuesday night's show on ABC, according to Us Weekly.

"Yeah, I had a lot of fun, but I messed up [and] I said the wrong words, but I kept, kept going."

Tyra flubbed her lines a few times during the show, with her most noticeable mistake happening at the end of Tuesday night's episode following former NBA basketball star Charles Oakley and pro partner Emma Slater's elimination.

Tyra announced fans could see both Pasha Pashkov and Carole Baskin on Good Morning America the next day, before quickly correcting herself to say Charles would be appearing on the morning news show.

Tyra, however, suggested Dancing with the Stars is a learning adjustment for both the celebrities and herself. She compared her errors to celebrity Skai Jackson's performance with pro partner Alan Bersten in which the young Disney star nearly fell during a lift on Tuesday night.

"She got back up and she kept going, and because of that she's here for another week," Tyra reportedly said.

"So the message is: I messed up this week, Skai messed up this week, but we're gonna keep on going and going. Forgive yourself when you mess up and keep going."

Dancing with the Stars has a drastic new look after Tyra replaced longtime Dancing with the Stars host Tom Bergeron and his co-host Eric Andrews.

As previously announced in July, the supermodel and former America's Got Talent and America's Next Top Model host joined Dancing with the Stars as its new host and executive producer because the show is embarking on "a new creative direction."

Many fans were especially disappointed to see Tom go considering he has hosted Dancing with the Stars since it premiered on ABC in 2005 -- a span that has covered 28 seasons and over 400 episodes.

"Just informed @DancingABC will be continuing without me," Tom, 65, tweeted in July.

"It's been an incredible 15 year run and the most unexpected gift of my career. I'm grateful for that and for the lifelong friendships made. That said, now what am I supposed to do with all of these glitter masks?"

Erin began serving as co-host of Dancing with the Stars in March 2014 after competing on the show's tenth season and finishing in third place with pro partner Maksim Chmerkovskiy.

Tyra admitted to Us earlier this month it would definitely be a "challenge" to fill Tom and Erin's shoes on Dancing with the Stars.

"I mean, you know, Tom Bergeron and Erin. They lead the show, this is one of the top-rated shows in the world," Tyra said at the time.

"So [I'm] respecting the stage that they have set and then adding my icing to that. I feel confident about that, but of course, it's a challenge, but I don't back away from challenges."

Tyra also apparently felt confident in her hosting abilities and didn't fear any big mishaps during a live show.

"I love when something wrong happens because the world can see, like, the imperfection," Tyra reportedly said. "I always say, 'Show the mishaps and the malfunctions and the mistakes.'"

Tyra also asked Tom recently to message her directly if he finds himself unhappy with her hosting performances.

"Tom, I respect you so much. What you have done for Dancing With the Stars, there's a reason why it is a successful show," Tyra said during an interview with Entertainment Tonight.

She added, "I hope to do you proud, and if I make mistakes, I want you to hit me up in the DMs and let me know. Like, 'Girl, you messed that up.' Because I want to make you proud."

Tyra isn't the only aspect of Dancing with the Stars' 29th season people are complaining about as the show gets a facelift.

Celebrities Nelly and Johnny Weir, for example, have complained Dancing with the Stars judges Carrie Ann Inaba, Derek Hough and Bruno Tonioli are too "harsh" and even "whack."

Derek, who also judged World of Dance, has taken over for former DWTS lead judge Len Goodman because Len can't risk his health by traveling back and forth from London to the United States amid the ongoing coronavirus pandemic.

Dancing with the Stars currently airs Monday nights at 8PM ET/PT on ABC, and 14 celebrities remain in the running to win the coveted mirrorball trophy.
