Dancing with the Stars judge Carrie Ann Inaba admits she's super frustrated the judging panel is having to send home skilled, high-scoring celebrity contestants each week due to home-viewer votes, which have allowed former White House press secretary Sean Spicer to stick around.

"That is what Dancing with the Stars is. I can't get too mad, but yeah, I'm a little frustrated. I'm a lot frustrated."

Pop star Ally Brooke and actress Kate Flannery both fell into the bottom two on Monday night's Dancing with the Stars performance show based on the combination of judges' scores and home viewer votes cast live during the two-hour Season 28 broadcast.
Along with her fellow Dancing with the Stars judges Len Goodman and Bruno Tonioli, Carrie Ann could only save one of the two ladies from elimination, and Kate and her pro partner Pasha Pashkov were sent packing as a result.
When Carrie Ann was shown voting to keep Ally and her pro partner Sasha Farber in the competition over Kate and Pasha, she admittedly was "absolutely confused" and "a little irritated" she had been put in such a position when Sean had been receiving the lowest scores week after week.
"This is a dancing competition. It's nothing else. It's supposed to be about the best dancer. Put it where it counts!" Carrie Ann exclaimed in her interview with ET.
Ally and Sasha fell into the bottom two despite having received the first perfect score of the season on Monday night, 30 out 30 points from the judges.
Although Kate and Pasha only earned themselves 24 points for their routine, Sean landed in last place on the judges' leaderboard with 20 points.
"What I want to say about this is, there are people who are working their butts off, and we've gotten so many complaints in the past seasons about not the best dancer winning," Carrie Ann said, seemingly referring to the controversy over Bobby Bones winning last season with his pro partner Sharna Burgess.

As Dancing with the Stars viewers may recall, Bobby was extremely popular on the show among voters and kept advancing until he made the finale. Along the way, better dancers were ousted from the show in his place.

"So, these people who are voting just to spite us or whatever reasons they're having in their heart -- listen, I respect you, but how about having a little respect for the people who are working their butts off dancing?" Carrie Ann complained to ET.
Last week, Queer Eye star Karamo Brown also got eliminated from Dancing with the Stars although he had earned a score six points higher than what Sean and his pro partner Lindsay Arnold had received from the judges.
Bruno suggested in an interview with ET perhaps voters think there's more weight on judges' scores than there actually is.
"Listen, we are giving a guideline based on our scores, and I think people assume that because you're on the top of the leaderboard, you are safe. And it doesn't work like that," Bruno said.
"You really have to vote with your brain as well as your heart. No one is safe. You really have to vote sensibly!"
After Sean danced a less-than-stellar jazz routine on Monday night, Len commented, "We keep throwing you out [of] the boat, and the viewers keep throwing you a life preserver."

"The biggest disappointment is there's so many really good dancers gone," Len told ET.
"You know, from Week 3 or something when [Sailor Brinkley-Cook] went, and on and on, yeah, I don't like it. It's a bad vibe, but it's the show, that's how it goes. We say what we think, the viewers give their opinions and que sera sera, what will be will be."

"I'm doing my job, right? And people need to vote... I just hope that those who are frustrated with this happening as well vote as passionately as the people who support Sean," Carrie Ann told Us.
Sean's Dancing with the Stars participation caused waves right from the start.
Shortly after ABC announced the Season 28 cast of Dancing with the Stars in August, host Tom Bergeron confessed he didn't agree with Sean being a part of the show.
"A few months ago, during a lunch with DWTS' new Executive Producer, I offered suggestions for Season 28," Tom tweeted.
"Chief among them was my hope that DWTS, in its returning following an unprecedented year-long hiatus, would be a joyful respite from our exhausting political climate and free of inevitably divisive bookings from ANY party affiliations. I left that lunch convinced we were in agreement."

Tom continued, "Subsequently (and rather obviously), a decision was made to, as we often say in Hollywood, 'go in a different direction.' It is the prerogative of the producers, in partnership with the network, to make whatever decisions they feel are in the best long term interests of the franchise."
"We can agree to disagree, as we do now, but ultimately it's their call. I'll let it to them to answer any further questions about those decisions," he added at the time.
One of the most recognized former staffers in President Donald Trump's administration, Sean built a decades-long career in Republican politics.
Trump has even been supporting Sean through his Dancing with the Stars stint on Twitter.
