Jordin and Brandon were up against The D'Amelio Show star Heidi D'Amelio and pro partner Artem Chigvintsev in the bottom-two couples.
Dancing with the Stars judges Len Goodman, Derek Hough, Carrie Ann Inaba and Bruno Tonioli were tasked with saving one of the two couples and sending the other couple home. Len, as the head judge, would break a tie if necessary.

Carrie Ann voted to save Heidi and Artem, Derek voted to advance Jordin and Brandon in the competition, Bruno voted to save Jordin and Brandon, and Len made the deciding vote in choosing to keep Heidi and Artem around for another week.
Jordin told Dancing with the Stars host Tyra Banks and co-host Alfonso Ribeiro that her time on the reality dancing competition was "so good" and "life changing."
"How many people get this opportunity?" Jordin gushed in her final words.
"There aren't many times as a performer when you get to do something different, something new, and so thank you guys for inviting me into your world. It's crazy but I love it! And I can't wait to do more, actually! I'm going to do more dancing."
Jordin added, "And I also have to give Brandon so much credit for putting up with me with my frame. And his choreography was incredible. He's been so supportive and so I couldn't have done this without [him]. So thank you."

Prior to the elimination portion of the evening, each of the nine remaining celebrity and professional pairings danced in two rounds of competition: a Halloween-inspired routine followed by a spooky "Team Dance" group performance.
The scores from the "Team Dance" round -- which split the nine couples into two groups, "Team Wicked" and "Team Scream -- added on to each couple's individual score.

Two celebrities tied for first place on the judges' leaderboard Monday night with a total score of 78 out of 80 possible points: TikTok and The D'Amelio Show star Charli D'Amelio and TV star and model Trevor Donovan.
Trevor and pro partner Emma Slater saw the top of the leaderboard for the first time this season after being saved from elimination last week.

Trevor and Emma danced a contemporary routine that received 39 out of 40 possible judges' points, and then their "Team Scream" number added 39 points to their score.
Len said he appreciated the soft and lyrical contemporary dance, and Derek agreed. Carrie Ann thought it was an "amazing performance," and she said the couple's partnership was beautiful and Trevor really looked like a dancer.
Charli and pro partner Mark Ballas took the stage with a 39-point worthy Argentine tango followed by their "Team Scream" performance, which gave them an additional 39 points.
Charli had to rehearse with pro Pasha Pashkov due to lower back pain Mark had been experiencing.
However, Charli and Mark got to perform together, and Bruno called the dance "genius." Carrie Ann said everything Charli does is "perfect" but she wants to see the TikTok influencer show a little more "messy," such as intensity and intimacy, going forward.

Third place on the judges' leaderboard went to Broadway star Wayne Brady and pro partner Witney Carson with 76 total points.
Wayne and Witney performed a contemporary routine that earned 37 judges' points, and then their "Team Scream" number received 39 points.
Carrie Ann credited Wayne with challenging himself, but she said he wasn't hitting some of the moves hard enough. Bruno thought the performance was clever, subtle, and "absolutely superb" in every detail.
Fourth place on the judges' leaderboard was a tie at 73 total points between CODA actor Daniel Durant and drag queen and former RuPaul's Drag Race contestant Shangela Wadley.
Daniel and pro partner Britt Stewart performed a paso doble that received 34 points from the judges. Their 39 points from "Team Scream" helped them climb the leaderboard.
Bruno thought the couple's paso doble had all of the elements, but Len disagreed. Len and Carrie Ann said Daniel's posture could have been stronger with cleaner footwork and body shaping.
Shangela and pro partner Gleb Savchenko took the stage with a jazz routine that received a perfect score of 40 points. However, their "Team Wicked" group performance only earned 33 points from the judges, which dragged down their total score.
Carrie Ann thought the jazz number was Shangela's best performance and Gleb's best choreography yet. Len said it scared the pants off him, and Derek joked about how it was going to give him nightmares. He called the routine fierce and "sensational."
The Bachelorette star Gabby Windey and pro partner Alan Bersten -- who replaced Val Chmerkovskiy -- fell into sixth place on Monday night with 71 total points.
Val tested positive for COVID-19 on Wednesday, October 26, and so Alan filled in as Gabby's partner.
Gabby and Alan performed an Argentine tango that earned 38 judges' points, but their "Team Wicked" number only received 33 judges' points.

Carrie Ann thought Gabby and Alan had chemistry, but Len noticed "a little incident" in the dance and thought it was "a little bit too hurried." Derek said their vampire tango was "bloody brilliant" and "fang-tastic."
Heidi and Artem placed seventh on the leaderboard with 70 total points -- which included 37 points for their tango and 33 points for their "Team Wicked" dance.
Carrie Ann thought Heidi delivered precision, frame and posture, but she wanted more from the dancer. Len said Heidi's performance was really good but she could push it a little more since she's on a bit of "a plateau."
Jordin and Brandon finished the night in eighth place on the judges' leaderboard with a total of 69 points.
Jordin and Brandon earned 36 points for their tango and an additional 33 points from the group "Team Wicked" performance.
Len said Jordin cast a spell on him with her tango because it was her best dance so far. But Derek said she lacked consistency, and Carrie Ann pointed out "little slip-ups." Bruno, on the other hand, said Jordin looked radiant and lit up the dance floor.
And finally, former Jersey Shore star Vinny Guadagnino and pro partner Koko Iwasaki landed at the bottom of the judges' leaderboard -- again -- with 63 total points.
The couple fell into ninth place on the leaderboard after dancing a paso doble that received only 30 judges' points. Their 33-point "Team Wicked" performance also didn't help their individual score much.

Len said there were no mistakes in Vinny's paso doble and it wasn't bad, and Derek complimented Vinny on the improvement of texture in his movements.
Carrie Ann said she could feel Vinny's heart but the choreography was "too blocky" for Vinny, who needs to build momentum in his performances. She noted that Koko may be stifling the reality TV star.
