Dancing with the Stars eliminated Christine Chiu and her professional partner Pasha Pashkov after the 14 remaining couples of Season 30 each took the stage and performed a dance paying tribute to popstar Britney Spears during Monday night's episode on ABC.

The actress and Pasha landed in the bottom two along with The Real Housewives of Atlanta star Kenya Moore and pro partner Brandon Armstrong based on the combination of judges' scores and home-viewer votes cast live as Dancing with the Stars aired in the Eastern and Central time zones on Monday night.

Dancing with the Stars judges Carrie Ann Inaba, Len Goodman and Bruno Tonioli were able to vote to save one of the bottom-two couples from elimination.

Carrie Ann voted to save Kenya and Brandon, and then Bruno also voted to save Kenya and Brandon. Although two votes was enough to carry, Len revealed he would have voted to save Christina and Pasha if given the opportunity.

Dancing with the Stars judge Derek Hough was absent from the live performance show.

"Due to a potential COVID exposure, and although he is fully vaccinated and tested negative, Derek will sit out tonight's show out of an abundance of caution," Dancing with the Stars host Tyra Banks announced at the top of the broadcast.

Prior to Christine and Pasha's elimination, each celebrity and professional pairing performed one time for "Britney Night" -- and three couples won the night by topping the leaderboard.

The following three couples tied for first place on the judges' leaderboard: social-media sensation Olivia Jade and pro partner Val Chmerkovskiy, popstar and Dance Moms alum JoJo Siwa and pro partner Jenna Johnson, and talk show host Amanda Kloots and pro partner Alan Bersten.

The three couples each received 24 out of 30 possible judges' points for their Britney-inspired dances.

Fourth place on the judges' leaderboard went to Emmy-nominated actress Melora Hardin and pro partner Artem Chigvintsev.

Melora and Artem received 23 points from the judges for their cha cha to "Crazy."

Two celebrities tied for fifth place on the leaderboard with 22 judges' points: Spice Girl Melanie C. and WWE superstar Mike "The Miz" Mizanin.

Melanie C. and pro partner Gleb Savchenko performed a tango to "Toxic," and The Miz and pro partner Witney Carson danced a salsa to "Oops I Did It Again."

Seventh place on the judges' leaderboard also represented a tie amongst three couples at 21 points.

Christine and Pasha performed a 21-point worthy paso doble to Britney's "Stronger."

Kenya and Brandon also earned 21 points for their tango to "Womanizer."

And Olympic gold medalist Suni Lee and pro partner Sasha Farber received the same score for their foxtrot to "I'm a Slave 4 U."

The Bachelor star Matt James tied for tenth place on the judges' leaderboard at 20 points with country singer Jimmie Allen.

Matt and pro partner Lindsay Arnold took the stage with a tango routine to "Scream & Shout," and Jimmie and pro partner Emma Slater performed a salsa to "Outrageous."

Two more couples tied for twelfth place on the judges' leaderboard with 19 points.

Actor Brian Austin Green and his girlfriend and pro partner Sharna Burgess tied with NBA champion Iman Shumpert and pro partner Daniella Karagach.

Brian and Sharna danced a tango to "Till the World Ends," and Iman performed a tango to "Piece of Me."

And finally, Peloton instructor Cody Rigsby and pro partner Cheryl Burke landed in fourteenth -- and last -- place on the judges' leaderboard with only 18 points, which appeared to disappoint the couple.

Cody and Cheryl both tested positive for breakthrough coronavirus last week and so they were unable to rehearse together in the studio and perform in the ballroom on Monday night.

However, Cody and Cheryl were feeling pretty good since they had been fully vaccinated and had been cleared by doctors to perform, and so Cheryl taught Cody a jazz routine to "Gimme More" remotely over videochat.

On Monday night, Cody and Cheryl performed the same routine at the same time from their respective homes, and Dancing with the Stars showed the two performances on a splitscreen.

Len, Carrie Ann and Bruno praised the couple's effort and Cody's energy and spirit, but the moves were a bit out of sync and it was hard to follow both competitors at the same time.

Although Cody and Cheryl received the lowest score of the night, they escaped the bottom-two couples and survived elimination.
