Teresa and Pasha were up against actress and former Charlie's Angels star Cheryl Ladd and pro partner Louis van Amstel in the bottom-two couples.

Dancing with the Stars judges Len Goodman, Derek Hough, Carrie Ann Inaba and Bruno Tonioli were tasked with saving one of the two couples and sending the other couple home.

Derek voted to save Teresa and Pasha, Bruno voted to save Teresa and Pasha, and Carrie Ann voted to advance Cheryl and Louis to next week because she had pushed them to do a harder routine.

Len then voted to save Cheryl and Louis, and because he's the head judge, he carried the vote and automatically broke the tie.

"I had so much fun with Pasha," Teresa said following her ouster from the show. "This is something that I've always wanted to do, and I finally did it. I wanted to dance my whole life and I finally did it at 50!"

Prior to the elimination portion of the evening, each of the 15 celebrity and professional pairings performed in one round of competition, which featured songs by the King of Rock n' roll, Elvis Presley.

Dancing with the Stars host Tyra Banks and co-host Alfonso Ribeiro kicked off the show by revealing pro dancer Daniella Karagach had tested positive overnight for COVID-19. She was asymptomatic and is now self-quarantining.

Everyone who had been in close contact with Daniella tested negative, and those people were asked to wear masks during Monday night's live show. Dancing with the Stars Troupe member, Alexis Warr, stepped in to dance with fitness model and actor Joseph Baena.

There was a three-way tie for first place on the judges' leaderboard at 32 out of 40 points.

The Bachelorette star Gabby Windey and pro partner Val Chmerkovskiy, comedian and Broadway star Wayne Brady and pro partner Witney Carson, and TikTok and The D'Amelio Show star Charli D'Amelio and pro partner Mark Ballas all topped the leaderboard.

Gabby and Val danced a Viennese waltz to "Can't Help Falling In Love."

Gabby's The Bachelorette winner and fiance Erich Schwer rehearsed with Gabby and also supported her in the ballroom. They shared a kiss after her performance, and Gabby was praised for a "stunning" and great chemistry with Val.

Wayne and Witney performed a jive to "Burning Love."

Wayne was told his moves were "so smooth and so sharp," and although Wayne's knee was hurting, the judges noted how he danced great and didn't appear to be in pain.

Charli and Mark took the stage with a quickstep to "Bossa Nova Baby."

Charli's personality really shined through the dance, and she and Mark were complimented for being "a quirky match made in heaven."

Fourth place on the judges' leaderboard at 30 points went to TV star and model Trevor Donovan and pro partner Emma Slater.

Trevor and Emma danced a rumba to "Always On My Mind," and their score of 30 points was nine points higher than last week.

It was an "exceptional" rumba as well as "hot and sophisticated," according to the judges. Even Tyra was yelling about how it was "so sexy."

CODA actor Daniel Durant and pro partner Britt Stewart placed fifth on the judges' leaderboard.

Daniel and Britt earned 29 points for their jive to "Don't," and Daniel was told he had stayed in character from start to finish and it was a captivating performance. His musicality was also "incredible."

Movie star Selma Blair finished the night tied for sixth place on the leaderboard at 28 points with two other celebrities: drag queen and former RuPaul's Drag Race contestant Shangela Wadley as well as The D'Amelio Show star Heidi D'Amelio.

Selma and pro partner Sasha Farber performed a jive to "Jailhouse Rock," and Selma was told that she makes dancing look easy and it's an "amazing feat" for her to accomplish these dances every week considering she has multiple sclerosis.

Shangela and pro partner Gleb Savchenko took the stage with a 28-point worthy quickstep to "Shake, Rattle and Roll."

Shangela was "so sharp" and a "joyful" performer, but she apparently got off the timing of the dance and missed a step.

Heidi and pro partner Artem Chigvintsev performed a foxtrot routine to "Suspicious Minds."

Derek shared with Heidi how she has the technique and fundamentals ready to go but she's missing the feeling, breath and depth of the movement in her dancing.

Ninth place on the judges' leaderboard also represented a tie between singer and former American Idol winner Jordin Sparks and pro partner Brandon Armstrong as well as former Jersey Shore star Vinny Guadagnino and pro partner Koko Iwasaki.

The two reality TV stars received 27 points apiece from the judges.

Jordin and Brandon danced a quickstep routine to "Hound Dog," and Jordin's face lit up the whole ballroom, although she was advised to strengthen her frame.

And Vinny and Koko also performed a quickstep to "Viva Las Vegas." The couple's score increased a whopping 10 points from last week, and Vinny was praised for his comeback and really showing up to the ballroom this week. Len said Vinny was "all in" and it "paid off."

Good Morning America contributor and New York weather anchor Sam Champion and pro partner Cheryl Burke finished the night in eleventh place on the leaderboard with a score of 26 points.

Sam and Cheryl danced a Viennese waltz to "Heartbreak Hotel," and the judges gushed about Sam's confidence and energy. They could tell Cheryl had worked him hard over the last week.

Twelfth place on the judges' leaderboard went to country star and former Eric & Jessie: Game On star Jessie James Decker and pro partner Alan Bersten.

Jessie and Alan received 25 points from the judges after they performed a foxtrot to "Trouble." The couple was told it was a "huge improvement" from last week and they are on the right track.

Joseph and his temporary pro partner Brittany claimed thirteenth place on the judges' leaderboard after they earned 24 points for a Viennese waltz set to "If I Can Dream."

Joseph was genuinely leading his partner but there were apparently a few missteps and "sticky moments" he managed to recover from.

Teresa and Pasha landed in fourteenth place on the judges' leaderboard with 23 points.

Teresa and Pasha jived to "All Shook Up," and while the performance was lively and fresh, the judges agreed there were "too many faults" in Teresa's leg action.

And finally, Cheryl Ladd and Louis fell to the bottom of the night's leaderboard in fifteenth -- and last -- place with a 21-point worthy tango routine.

The pair danced to "A Little Less Conversation." Cheryl definitely brought the attitude and passion to her dance, but the judges criticized her for stepping on the wrong foot a couple of times.
