Dancing with the Stars pro Alan Bersten admits the stars didn't align for Alexis Ren and himself when they dated.

"She is a beautiful person, in and out, but, that didn't end up so well," Alan, 24, reportedly said when asked to share his thoughts on the 22-year-old model's uber sexy Instagram photos.
"We met on the show, and you know, that is her whole career... she is a social media influencer, how could I tell her whether she should post something or not?"
Alan added, "You know, that's not my duty as a boyfriend. I personally am a super private person."
Alexis and Alan fell for each other on Dancing with the Stars' 27th season, which wrapped in November 2018.
Though they attempted to keep their on-screen romance alive after the show ended, Alan and Alexis separately alluded to a split a little over two weeks later.
Sources later confirmed to the magazine Alan and Alexis' relationship did not work out.
Not only did the couple find themselves in different countries once filming wrapped on the ABC reality dancing competition, but Alan also had to embark on the Dancing with the Stars tour.
Last month, Alan admitted to Us he hadn't spoken to Alexis "in a while."
"I'm not gonna lie. I'm gonna be honest," Alan said. "No more showmances for me. I'm done!"

Alexis and Alan dating was a storyline that played out on Dancing with the Stars. In October, Alexis admitted in a backstage video package she was "developing feelings" for her professional partner that she never saw coming.
The following week, Alan expressed mutual attraction and gave Alexis a kiss for the cameras.
"I'm in a place where, we worked so hard for this amazing journey together, and I'm afraid I will mess that up in some way," Alan told her in the footage that aired on Dancing with the Stars.
"But I've never had an experience like this. It's so easy to just hang out with you and have fun and not worry about everything else. I know that you put yourself out there last weekend, and I do have feelings for you. And I really feel like I am falling for you."
Alan and Alexis ended up finishing Season 27 of Dancing with the Stars in fourth place. The winners of the season were Bobby Bones and Sharna Burgess.
