Dancing with the Stars pro Karina Smirnoff has welcomed her first child into the world.

"Karina and baby are healthy and well," a source close to Karina told the magazine. "She's already head over heels in love. She's excited for the next journey."

And an insider also echoed those sentiments and told Us that Karina is "doing well" after having the baby.
"As a first-time mom, she's a bit nervous but also excited!" the insider said.
Karina, who competed in 18 Dancing with the Stars seasons as a professional partner, took to Instagram in mid-December to announce she was pregnant and going to be a mother.
Karina posted an Instagram photo of herself smiling and holding up a positive pregnancy test. She was also flashing fans the peace sign.
"Thanks @FirstReponsePregnancy for confirming that I will have a little one to train on the dance floor! #BabySmirnoff coming in 2020!" Karina captioned the picture.
Karina told People at the time she was "over-the-moon happy and overwhelmed" because she had "always wanted to be a mom."
Karina chose not to disclose the identity of her child's father.
Karina was previously engaged to Jason Edelman in January 2015, but they called it quits two months later.
Karina had also previously been engaged to both pro baseball player Brad Penny and former Dancing with the Stars pro Maksim Chmerkovskiy.

Although Karina and Brad had allegedly set a wedding date of January, 21, 2012, they ended their engagement and split in December 2011 after dating for a little over two years.
Shortly before Karina began dating Brad in October 2009, she and Maksim had broken off their engagement and called it quits.
Karina had also been involved in high-profile romances with Mario Lopez, her third-season Dancing with the Stars partner, and The Bachelorette villain Chad Johnson on Famously Single.
Karina joined Dancing with the Stars for Season 3 and won the mirrorball trophy one time with J.R. Martinez in Season 13.
The last time she competed as a pro on the reality dancing competition was Season 22 with Doug Flutie.
