In the video, Lindsay, with Sage in her arms, told her followers in tears, "You guys this is literally the best thing in the world, to be able to able to tell you all our amazing news. It's been our little secret for a while... and we feel so blessed and so grateful."
She added, "Sage is going to be a big sister!"
Lindsay told Women's Health Magazine that she and Sam "couldn't be happier" about their baby on the way.
"It's been, honestly, just so overwhelmingly awesome," gushed Lindsay, who is due in early May. "I'm really excited to be able to share with the world."
Lindsay and Sam welcomed their first baby, daughter Sage, in November 2020.

"Two of my sisters [Brynley and Jensen] just had babies, and the love and excitement that Sage shows for them has made me so excited to have another of our own, because she is obsessed with babies. She's so good with them," Lindsay said. "I know she's going to be the best big sister."
Lindsay had struggled to conceive her second child, which she was open about with her followers on Instagram, and so she told E! News in a separate interview that being pregnant towards the end of her first trimester "still feels a little bit surreal."
"It's just kind of crazy, but we are so, so happy," Lindsay said, clarifying how she and Sam had been "trying for a while" to expand their family.
"It's been something that we've known we've wanted so it was just such a huge blessing. We're excited to expand our family."
Lindsay revealed in a YouTube video how she and Sam started trying for another baby in January, which she acknowledged is not a very long time compared to other couples out there.

"Month 9, I get a faint positive test. It was very faint... I was also testing way early... and then literally every day after that was negative," Lindsay said in the YouTube video.
Lindsay shared how she could've had a chemical pregnancy or a false positive, which is rare.

"It was awful because I got so excited. I was so pumped out of my mind and told Sam... and it was super disappointing to have all that [taken away]," Lindsay said.
But the following month, Lindsay discovered she was pregnant again.

"I thought I had it hard, but I know other people have it so much worse," Lindsay noted.
Lindsay shared how a big gender reveal will be coming soon -- and she and Sam "don't care either way" -- and she's "most excited" to watch Sage become a big sister.
Lindsay decided not to compete on Dancing with the Stars' 31st season, currently streaming on Disney+.
"Doing what is best for my daughter is always going to be at the top of my list!" Lindsay wrote on Instagram before the new season premiered in September.
"As many of you know, my family and I live in UT and in order to do DWTS I have to move myself and my daughter Sage out to LA and leave behind my husband Sam who works full time here in Utah."
Lindsay pointed out how "logistically there is SO much involved" with moving to and living in California for the entire Dancing with the Stars season.
"And there is a lot of sacrifice that has to be made that unfortunately just did not feel right for us this time around," Lindsay shared.
"We exhausted every option we could think of to make it work but at the end of the day, none of the options felt good in my heart or felt like the right thing for our lives right now."
Lindsay also confirmed at the time how she and Sam were trying for Baby No. 2.
"We are also trying to grow our family and that in itself is a complicated logistical thing as I'm sure many of you understand," Lindsay wrote.
"All this being said it's so important to me that you understand none of this has anything to do with my love for the show as that will NEVER change and it also doesn't mean that this is the end for me and DWTS."

"Although this decision has been so hard to make," she added, "I feel so much peace about it and know that it is the right thing to do."
Lindsay announced she was pregnant with her first child in May 2020, just one month before she and Samuel celebrated five years of marriage.
Lindsay and Samuel were high school sweethearts who tied the knot at the Salt Lake Temple in Salt Lake City, UT, in June 2015. Approximately 150 guests reportedly attended their reception at the Sleepy Ridge estate.
Fellow Dancing with the Stars pros Jenna Johnson and Emma Slater were among her bridesmaids in her wedding, with Witney Carson serving as her maid of honor.

Lindsay did not compete on Dancing with the Stars' 29th season because she was pregnant at the time, but she joined the show for Season 30 and danced with The Bachelor alum Matt James.
Lindsay joined Dancing with the Stars as a pro partner for Season 16 and has competed in 10 seasons overall.
