Dancing with the Stars pro Sharna Burgess has revealed she is off the market and dating someone new who could turn out to be The One!

The longtime Dancing with the Stars dancer has been known for her beauty, poise and excellent choreography -- and well, being single -- throughout her time on the reality ballroom dancing competition.

But Sharna, 35, has announced she is no longer single and happens to be pretty smitten with the new guy she's seeing.

"Dating has been interesting. [I've gone on] so many social distancing dates. It was like, 'Let's go to the park and get blankets and sit six feet apart... and get to know each other.' And it's been really awesome," Sharna told Us Weekly on Monday.

"Actually, I am not on the market anymore."

"But it's very new and very, you know, it's dating, essentially," Sharna continued. "No one's calling us a relationship yet. But how funny would it be if I actually found the love of my life during a pandemic? I mean, we'll see!"

Although Sharna refused to share the man's identity, she noted this person could "maybe" be her future husband.

"I thought that when I met someone, I would be like screaming it from the mountain tops, like, 'Guess what?! I'm in love!' And it's actually, it's almost the opposite," Sharna shared with Us.

"I want to hold it close to me for just as long as I can to stay in this space and just enjoy that human for as much as I can."

"It's new and we're still getting to know each other and all those things," she added, "but it feels different [compared] to all the rest of them."

Sharna said she met her romantic interest through "a mutual friend."

"Friends were like, 'We need to find you a husband!' And so I've had many, many friends setting me up on dates, which is awesome because dating apps are just difficult," Sharna explained.

"And so when you feel like there's someone else who knows that person, there's a connection and it makes it much easier. So a mutual friend set us up and the rest is history -- for now!"

Sharna was photographed with Selling Sunset star Jason Oppenheim in October, which sparked dating rumors, but Sharna confirmed he's not the new man in her life and there is "nothing romantic" going on between them.

"A mutual friend set us up and we went on a lunch date and then we were just friends. We got snapped in a photo and I guess he's been asked [about us] in interviews, and it's a very, very funny thing. He's a great guy but there wasn't that connection there," Sharna shared.

"I am looking for that soul-mate stuff, that thing when something inside you recognizes that something inside them. But Jason is a very cool human, so we are definitely friends."

Sharna noted she and Jason "just went to lunch a couple of times" and he's "not huge on dating."

Back in November, Sharna suggested she may need a show like The Bachelorette to help her find the right man.

"This is a conversation that keeps coming back to me. I am absolutely looking for love. I am ready for love," Sharna told Entertainment Tonight at the time.

"I am getting more and more open to being the Bachelorette... I don't know! It's up in the air, but I am definitely looking for love."

The pro dancer and choreographer from Wagga Wagga, Australia, said she'd consider both The Bachelorette in Australia and the United States.

Sharna then shared what she was looking for in her dream guy.

"Honestly, someone to share my life with, someone that has already gone through their own journey of [finding] themselves and their career and is ready to just build something with someone else now and sort of blend and love and support each other," Sharna explained to ET.

"Honestly, I just want to share life and memories and moments."

Sharna joined Dancing with the Stars back in Season 13 as a Troupe member and was bumped up to a professional partner for Season 16.

After dating choreographer and dancer Paul Kirkland from 2010 to 2015, Sharna often became the subject of dating rumors regarding her celebrity partners on Dancing with the Stars because she was one of the only single female pro dancers.

Dating speculation sparked, for example, when she was paired with professional bull rider Bonner Bolton for Season 24.

Sharna finished Dancing with the Stars in second place a whopping three times with Backstreet Boy Nick Carter, Indy Car racer James Hinchcliffe, and NFL player Josh Norman before winning Season 27 of the show with country music radio personality Bobby Bones.

Sharna and Bobby's Dancing with the Stars victory was a bit controversial, however, because it was said Bobby wasn't nearly the best technical dancer on the season.

However, he definitely made up for what he lacked in spirit and charisma.

Dancing with the Stars did not ask Sharna back for the show's 28th season, but she competed on Season 29 in Fall 2020 and was the fourth couple eliminated with actor Jesse Metcalfe.
